Xiaomi's phone may give you the best value for money, but they can't give you a better smartphone. Period. In terms of build quality, life span, connectivity, customer support, user experience, availability, etc, Xiaomi can never beat the top dogs (Sony, Samsung, Huawei and Apple), atleast for now.

Even security updates are up to date

Afaik rmn4 has 110+ hour rating which means it's more Than double. Even if 60 it's still 11% more. And http://m.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_xa-review-1454p3.php says 54 so stop lying. And anybody could use your fingerprint to unlock your device is the most hilarious thing I've heard in a long while. People carry other people's fingertips or something? It's more secure and convenient than most other device based methods (pattern PIN etc) combined

It would be stupid to use full hd on 4,7".
Apple could keep yearly 3 iphones, something like an iPhone Nano ( 4,3" HD), iPhone (5" Full HD) and iPhone+ (5,6" QHD).

Xperia X wasn't IP rated yet managed to survive a water test like a pro. I could hardly name a single Xiaomi phone that can do it. For $350, you'll get the camera of the old Z5 which was once rated as the best of 2015, and the lack of 4K video is no big deal when the supreme Intelligent Active SteadyShot kills every smartphone with OIS + EIS combined together. Again, Xiaomi couldn't even come close. Fingerprint scanner is passable since anybody could use your thumbprint to unlock it, and battery, if not that impressive, is highly optimized to last long. I mean the XA with only 2,300mAh battery could reach 59h endurance rating. Which phone with that same battery capacity could do it? Xiaomi needs 4,000mAh just to reach the 60h mark. Knowing Sony, their prices go down quickly within 3 months. Xiaomi's price tag will remain constant for years. Not to mention the daily software support that Sony gives to their phones. I doubt any Xiaomi phone already received 3 major OS upgrades like Sony's Xperia Z2. If you're looking for the best bang for the buck, at least go with those reliable ones, preferably Huawei and Samsung. Sony is not beating those two in budget segment, but their phones are trustworthy for a long period of time

The viewing angles, thanks to the IPS matrix, are very good too with little color washing.
Unfortunately the screen, even with turned the Auto Brightness setting off, continues to changes the brightness level according to the ambient light and the picture thus we can't do our tests at 50%.
And low sunlight legibility
Is better than When you drag the brightness slider all the way down, the Redmi Note 4 screen drops to just 2 nits. This is great for using the phone comfortably in the dark, and you can enable the Reading mode to reduce the amount of blue light in the evening. This mode can be set to trigger automatically for select apps - say, Amazon Kindle or other apps that involve a lot of screen time. And better display in sunlight. Yeah ok and in this world I'm president of USA

a7(2017) = xa 2016 in terms of performance. s8 gpu slightly faster than xa 2016, s8 stutters in games. a flagship cant handle games?
