Lol. That reminds me of some other very popular phone. Now, if only I could remember the name of that other 📱 phone. 😂

Anonymous, 03 Apr 2017Real innovation would be allowing us to install Windows 10 ... moreThat's nothing new. The Joy 11 tablet already have Dual-OS support. Android 5.1.1 and Windows 10 Home (not Windows Mobile)

sr777, 03 Apr 2017I use Nova prime in my phone. Still I hide the app drawer. Can you believe I keep coming back to Nova 3.0.2? I think they call that Nova launcher Classic nowadays.
I love those beautiful detailed Kitkat (and gingerbread icons). Besides I already used a swipe-up gesture to get the app-drawer. Which is actually stolen from Sailfish OS. It too had the first (top-row icons) as a dock and a swipe up to reveal the rest o/t apps.

        Nothing new really.

Now a little bit less of that blinding white in the UI and apps please? It's a bloody torch when you use your device in darker places and at nights. My wife already kicked me out o/t bedroom... but now I lit up the whole house downstairs so the neighbours keep calling the cops, thinking there's a burglar at our place. :-#

Anonymous, 03 Apr 2017Real innovation would be allowing us to install Windows 10 ... moreWell there are plans from my understanding to have future phones use full windows 10 in the desktop experience. It would be neat if Samsung and MS worked to implement a Tiles UI as an android skin.

Providing the choice for the user is always best. After all, that's what Android is all about: CUSTOMISABILITY! Cheers! :P

Anonymous, 03 Apr 2017Real innovation would be allowing us to install Windows 10 ... moreMissing features? In Android? You are kidding, aren't you?

The only really feature that I find missing in ALL of these modern OS's is a proper call-recorder which used to be standard on Sony-Ericsson and Nokia featurephones AND Symbian smartphones AND, yes indeed, Windows Mobile!

S3mm, 03 Apr 2017Totally agreed, android may be superior in app support, but... moreOh please. The only reason why Android is popular on phones is because you can find AND easily install (illegal) apps. Just as Windows on PC's used to be when that was the most popular OS. With a Windows on phones you can only sideload a couple of times and a couple of apps.

Today Windows' success is waning away as it gets more and more closed off into a walled garden. For some odd reason this seem to work with iOS but NOT with MacOSX (which suffers from the same fate).

Anyway, why is this such a big deal? You can have no app-button and swipe up tot he app-drawer with the Pixels and with recent versions of Nova launcher (to name one). Perhaps GSM Arena should review a few of these launchers as well. Particularly for the less fortunate under us whom can't afford a Galaxy S

Real innovation would be allowing us to install Windows 10 on it instead of Android. That way, both the Android and Windows worlds would be happy.

Business related, I have only drawbacks from switching from Windows to Android. Even though there are a lot of apps available, the quality of the OS is about 40% of that of Windows 8.1/10 phones, and there are a lot of missing features.

In ALL the Hands-On videos there was no apps drawer BUTTON, but you could swipe up to see your apps just like on the Google Pixel. I really liked that aspect...

App drawer is on the way out. It was a stupid idea to begin with and only exists because OEMs load a bunch of bloatware on the phone and people get confused by the 70 apps pre-installed.
