Wait for OLED iphone 8. I think it is worth it. I am not impressed with S* or S8+ at all! it is very strange mobile. Not pleasant at all to read any content on S8/S8+. Or maybe the Mi Mix 2?

Because android phones are constantly changing, making any older version of say a samsung line obsolete within a certain time frame. Apple change a couple of little things on their phone and call it innovative. Also by this point having an iphone is literally just a fashion statement. If anyone reading this needs any help with the new Iphones "groundbreaking features" just ask an android user, we have had them for years!!

Apple know they are lacking behind in everything so they want to play some catch up game, '' ok samsung has these features this time which we can't achieve in 10 years, well atleast have their curved display ''. Apple can't match a Samsung flagship because they are scared of investing in technology, they are so greedy that they try to delay a latest tech as long as they can, whether it be larger display, now this curved display, wireless charging, VR and hundreds of other things an iPhone still lack. Now just using a curved oled will make their phone around 20x more expensive than the difference between this new panel and the old panel they were using. They are avoiding it because due to their greed if they had to make a smartphone with all the latest and greatest tech Samsung is using them their phone will cost around $10k, how can they afford that?

So the other companies have OLEDs or AMOLED for years but now it will be revolutionary and Apple will charge 1000$ for the base model? And of course people will just surge to help Apple maintain the same level of obscene profits, even if the phone should have been at least 200-250$ cheaper

Apple SUE Samsung them for "copying" / "replicating" their design, which for your information, looked nothing like the iPhone in the first place.
And now they are getting OLED panels, from them for their iPhones. Oh, but not just any old panels, noooooooo. THE TRADEMARK CURVED OLED PANELS FROM SAMSUNG.

Yes 7 maybe the closet one to no crashes but it does. As for 4 and 5 those were auwful and I had to have an iPhone as a back up cuz I didn't trust Android

It feel like the rumours are incorrect.
Why would Apple not simply release a iPhone X?
X as in ten, but also it would not be a jump in numbers like if they would call it 10. Mac OS was given the name X.
If I were Apple I would release the iPhone X, and the iPhone X limited anniversary edition.
The standard X version should feel like a leap from current sevens, so buying a lot of those screens that Samsung uses on the s8, or perhaps a smaller version considering it is apple.
With that fingerprint scanner behind the screen that samsung did not finish in time.
Wireless charging, only if they could make a cheramic back, for the right price, in high enough quality, otherwise that could be left for the limited anniversary edition.
Dual cameras even on the "standard" size version. Unless they go for even more as in 3D sensing tech for AR.
Saphire glass, for the anniversary edition.
And inclusion of those ugly airpods with the Anniversary edition, perhaps... but I think they would look much better in black, I would say that the included ones should match the front color of the phone they come with. (I acually think the Airpods would look better in pretty much every other color out there, compared to the white ones, even extreme colors as that would give the impression that the buyer bought them for a reason)
I don't see any reason for a 7s.
The X will be the main device, the Anniverasy edition, the limited high en offering with the high pricetag to milk the even more premium buyers, and the 7 still around as the slightly cheaper alternative.
An updated SE, perhaps, possibly even an anniversary edition, with the styling of the iPhone 1 (but with the larger retina type of display).
7s and 8 within the same year feels like a bad strategy.
If they do a special edition, that goes one step further than the "7s" I don't think they would call it 8. It would have the same CPU and GPU inside, so it would not be the next generation of iPhone, even if it comes with a different display. So if they go for the 7s, rather than taking the chance to mark the 10 year anniversary of the iPhone with the "normal" iPhone release, I strongly doubt that the special edition to mark that, would be called 8.
