In 2017, edge screen which was worst, most useless and "impractical" gimmick for millions, will suddenly change into innovation.
BTW, I don't like edge screen. Will skip it until no flagships will come with flat. skipped S8.

And also, looks like author wants to make some hype about next iPhone. Proof : this premium version is said to cost North of 1000, and I know sheeps will buy it, but everyone author on tech sites really condemned it. IPhone launches in Last quarter, and Apple's record is 78 million (for all the models, 7, 7+, 6,6s, 6+,6s+,SE) . There will be 3 models in total, and this one will be costliest, and author believes in the "missile" that this version alone will sell North of 55 million. Whatever he Clarify, his tone clearly shows he somehow believes in iPhone 8 curved, glass phone.

If apple makes an edge looking iPhone I would seriously start migrating my work flow to Android. I Absolutely hated using my S6 edge+. Fingers would be touching things I didn't mean to. Webpages aren't optimized for edge phones leaving content falling off the screen.
