S7 has ufs 2.0

OP3 is not 450 everywhere.. Some countries it costs 600 or more

So Samsung knows very well what more Ram means to android phones, so they only used 4GB in EMEA and US versions because they're cynical about it "fans would buy it anyway, so why bother competing?"

I personally am going to wait for the next Mi, OnePlus or even Axon to come out before I even consider buying a 2017 flagship. That way, I at least will know that I'll be getting the best value for my money. Screw Samsung (read: Apple) with all their gimmicks and astronomical price tags.

...and us UK customers get screwed over...where are our dual sim versions and the extra on board memory. We get a stripped down version and have to pay more. Samsung,Huawei,Sony all pulling the same stunt. I won't entertain it.

this is so wrong. when tech companies get it?
people who buy a phone like the samsung S8 or LG G6 or sony XZ spending nearly 1000 EUR/USD are crasy about technology.
this is the worst marketing ever as the target group knows everything about the phone. they want the best available. specs like ram and CPU should not differ in different markets. hardware discrimination is as bad as price discrimination as large parts of the endconsumer market are totaly transparent since the internet arrived.
the rule for sucess is set by apple. and they might be the only tech company in the 21st century which really understood what marketing is all about. as a marketing professional i really have to admit that even if i don't own a single apple product. the rule for mobile phones they set is "one world, one phone". Tim Cook is breaking it up a bit and we will see where it leads.
samsung tries so hard to be like apple and at some points they are doing really a good job - but it seems they don't get the point on this one. one phone in 55 million variants. SD or exynos, 4 or 6 gb ram. this makes no sense at all. samsungs marketing department should really define a clear line for their falgship and not this total mess.
IMHO - quite disapointing and not the way a leading tech company should do busniess...

I mean it will cost them close to nothing for putting 6GB instead of 4GB
but they choose to screw their customers by charging more / not even offering it to
customers in NA / EU and more countries
OP3 was released last year with 6GB and it was less than $450
What a joke
