They continuously innovate but ill-knowledge people fail to get these news because they think Samsung & Apple are the key innovators lol.
And yes Sony is expensive and why it shouldnt be? It gives best quality, if you want the best, save a little money and get a Sony product, you wont regret it. Their quality does not fade with time, thats for sure.

They have to at least do something to make people call them "innovative". Wider camera hole, double the tiny drills on the bottom, removing feature. But the same shell is still the same shell. Nothing is different from the look.

By the same shell it means the very same exterior. The dimention, shape, edges, corners, glass. Did samsung really use the same thing? Did they use the leftover shells, just cut bigger and wider camera hole, and resell like hotcake?

Nice to see that S8 is a complete success till now. I will buy one as well but first i should see the difference between the normal and the plus model. I hope they release it faster in my country otherwise I might go for iphone 7s

Since when is popularity a way of judging quality? The iPhone 6/6 Plus sold the most ever iPhones at 100M. Doesn't make them better than the 6s, SE, and 7 that followed. I laugh at people paying $100 more for a 6 over SE which is the superior product with faster SoC, same 6s rear camera, and double RAM.
The S8 is nothing special inside. It will be improved in a year. Maybe less than six months with the Note8 with more RAM, internal base storage up to 128gb, and better position of the fingerprint scanner. Go watch Krystal Key's camera comparison. Fake color reproduction. S8 cam looks to disappointing. I prefer realistic colors and lighting.
I don't understand people going gaga over the S8 design. Only black fronts. My titanium silver S7e looks more beautiful when the screen is OFF and the sunlight reflects on both sides. It shimmers in light like the Honor 8 does. A black S8 is just another slab design that can get easily be mistaken for an iPhone or Pixel when the screen is OFF or if covered by a case.
I know people will go buy the black S8 and cover it with a case anyway. A black front that is easy to smudge and won't shimmer like jewelry. Nobody will see the rear color you chose for it like orchard grey once covered with a case. And from a distance, people will mistake it for the black onyx S7 edge or jet black iPhone 7.
A big mistake is Samsung didn't offer a one-tone color except in black. They probably will correct it next year or by the time Note8 gets released when the entire device is one color. The gold S6 edge, silver and blue coral S7 edge all look good, front and back. Consistency on both sides.
When their screen is OFF is when they truly shine. I don't even like using my silver S7e much but it looks better than any iPhone ever created and black S8. When the black S8 screen is OFF, you can easily mistake it for whatever common black slabs we have seen the last 10 years.
