the phone is too big as seen from the above picture.
and due to the thickness, most likely will compromise the battery capacity and large lcd screen eat battery, so expect short battery life. maybe have to charge it every half a day or keep connecting it to the laptop/charger to power it making the user having to tag along a laptop wherever they go.

me not liking it. i think you can't operate it in one hand and there are no tactile feedback. i bet the screen is prone to prints, smudges, and scratches. but hey, it's a solid debut.

If companies have the choice to switch to Apple, they would do it in a heartbeat. To change all the computers, servers would cost too much for many companies. So this is one reason for not switching for most companies. Companies looking to upgrade their computer dept. are now switching to Apple. You would find tons of people who use PC's at work, and go home to use their Apple computers. Especially now since you can dual boot using Mac OS X and Windows on a Mac computer, people are buying and Apple are gaining more shares of the market. It's plain and simple, Apple is the innovators and all those other companies follow in Apple footsteps. MS have always copy Apple with the OS. MS Vista is nothing new and is just a bad version of Mac OS X. How many PC makers try to copy the iMac after it was released by Apple? How many companies try to copy the ipod? Motorola, Samsung, Nokia and Sony are all SH!TTING in their pants after watching Steve jobs gave the world a look at the new iPhone. Cingular for now, but buy a unlocked phone to use on Tmobile. After that buy a unlocked phone to use with Sprint and Verizon when the phones are release in Europe and Asia. Steve Jobs does it again.

ouch! i got a k800 and i starting to feel intimidated by the 3.5 inch screen. its amazing!!. apple has done themselves with this one.the iphone seems amazing for being a first phone of apple. how long would the battery last with that big display?

this is retarded.. everyone will have it and it won'ot be unique.. and it's cheap 599 on 2 year con for 8 gig.. wtf.. what a cheap phone.. if apple can make things like this imagine the future for the japanese companies =]

I have been waiting and waiting for a device that can be a PDA, a Phone, a camera and a Media Player for so long and finally Apple were the first ones to come up with that! I hope the guys in HTC/Nokia will realize that the 2GB is no longer enough, we love stylish thin devices (less than 2cm...) and hopefully very soon a GPS, WI-FI and 3.5G will become standard in every new model.
Can't wait to buy it!

but il stick to the n95;
main reasons: 5 mp cam, ok screen, slider, nokia name, 3G
problems with ipod fone - no forward cam + no 3g
at least 3.2 mp cam shud be in it.
other then that.
the screen is goergoes
sleek size,
id buy it jus for the ipod since its nicer then my 30gig video at home

guys dont make such early conclusions bout this phone, reliabiliy histories and blah blah.:-D let's wait until it's released then say what you wanna say.
anyway: has cool interface, and PDA like mobile phone, there's so many divices following this concept, but it's good for the large screen is worth the size of the unit.

I have not found anyone mentioning the lack of video recording!
Every phone has video recording, at least when the phone has a camera!
