I've upgraded via Kies to 2.3.3 , GINGERBREAD.BVJV7 and now have a lot of problems with Internet transmission. When phone is switching between 2G to 3G transmission hangs .. and only reboot helps.

This is, as far as Samsung is concerned, not their recommended ROM for the Galaxy S, and will still void the warranty

i can't update my SGS with kies, my phone version ... morei used the exact rom that u re using..i ve upgraded it to 2.3.3 now.. its way fast ..and grafic enrichred.. and stable too... upgrade it...
only cons i can feel the back up time has been dropped slightly..

Gingerbread update is not supporting hindi. previous version was good for hindi.anyone can help ?

The new software is amzing. I'm very happy becouse it make my phone, faster, save me the battery, and is more stable than froyo. Strongly recomend you to update your software. 10 of 10

Keen to try this. But can't help but wonder... I am still on 2.2, the last official rom send through Kies (as far as I am aware) in Australia. Why does Samsung Australia take so long to release roms here?

Ported 2.3.3 on my Galaxy S in Australia. Works fine with optus, have been using it for about 1 month and have in counted no problems at all. Very fast, no lag. Everything i expected from the Galaxy s when i bought it.

Got mine from kies...is guite a bug loaded one. browser chrashes. slows down compared to froyo.even the tests says so. 3g togles betveen 3g and H.
text input on browser is annoying cant pinpoint the cursor to edit the text. Ewen now i dont see what im writing and to ceck this is wery hard.
how the hell can i remove this update cant find working removal onstruktions

Ive just got the OFFICIAL gingerbread 2.3.3 on my SGS and i dont like it. Auto rotate aint working, its really slow and net browsing is tedious. Had a leaked copy and it worked fine. Goes to show that official aint always good.

Wilson, 10 Apr 2011When would it available for update with Samsung Kies in Malaysia?I'm from KL. I had flash my SGS to 2.3.3 and it works fine since it KIES version, no harm to update via ODIN.

Have u loaded froyo yet in South Africa? im also wonderin when 2.3 will be out in sa, do we need 2.2 b4 we load 2.3?
