    Samsung changed the consumer taste with the Galaxy S8 , now manufacturers are forced to make their flagships similar to S8 to compete.

                    I am really excited about touch sensitive metal frame body concept from htc, if that's true it would be an exciting new innovation from Htc, really looking forward to it. But from the pictures I can see, there are buttons on the right side of the phone. Not sure about touch sensitive frame. I guess we should wait for the actual launch and see what the actual things is.

                          doesn't look too inspiring. The leaked video was far more interesting.

                            Sadly there are kinda big bezels again, and if it has a 5.5 inch display, this could be almost as big as the Iphone 7+, and this is NOT good at all!

                                Beats Audio ditched.
                                Best 3.5 output ditched.
                                Dual Camera ditched.
                                Stereo best sound speakers ditched.

                                Bezels needs to be as when keep phone in hand want see all screen also for protection if drop.


                                Sabotage?

                                No they have all like samsung akg still keeps 3.5 and even no names dual cameras.

                                  There is 3 main points regarding the HTC U (hopefully HTC s real flagship with SD835). FIRST but the least one, is that it doesn't follow Samsung's, LG, Xiaomi philosophy/footsteps, of the screen-to-body ratio, & so shrinking the bezels, they are huge almost of those of the XZ Premium. SECOND, they absolutely need some sort of a WOW FACTOR, after the flop/complaints of the U ULTRA. & THIRD, is the price tag, it must be somewhere between the price of the S8 & G6, absolutely not at the same price of the S8, otherwise, most probably people will prefer the S8 & so it will be another flop or almost, for HTC.

                                      Now this looks more like a HTC. Their current high-end phone (HTC U Ultra) looks a LOT like a Samsung. Really like the design though. If HTC manage to make the 'Edge Sense technology' RIGHT on their first try, this could become a mainstream thing.
