I agree with the comments about the removal of the 3.5 mm jack. That too is a deal breaker for me. I've never owned an HTC phone and was looking forward to probably buying the 11. Not now. I've got some fabulous headphones that need the jack. I'll probably go with the Sony Xperia XZ premium now. Audiophile stuff in a phone is very important to me.

Such a shame they are ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack. As it is HTC is struggling, and now this move will probably hurt them further.....

Bezel is of no concern to me, i support having bezel because it will make life easier for casing. No 3.5 is definitely a dealbreaker and I will definitely stay away from it because i don't want to support the no 3.5 movement.

Yeah, good move. Ugly design too. Looks like a jet black iPhone 7 knockoff. Same applies to the S8 when the screen is off. Glass rears is so iPhone 4. Let these companies keep copying Apple so we can continue to go backwards.

Why aren't people boring to grunt about these cliche comments like htc logo, small battery, big bezel, etc etc
You certainly are going backward two years or so, because HTC 10 is BUT all of those lame things
People bashing HTC for two years with exact same cloche without knowing the update HTC made with 10 are embarrasing... You just don't have a clue about HTC latest and keep commenting like parrots for two years straight........ amazing!

No 3.5... Deal breaker, i will not even look to the test of this phone.
It's sad, i loved HTC a long time ago, and i really want to like them again...
But c'mon, oversized bezel just to fit the "HTC" logo, overpriced most of the time, low battery capacity most of the time too... and now, no more Jack...?
Each time that HTC announce a new phone i'm going excited. And Each time, there is a deal breaker joke in their product...
But i have to admit, removing the 3.5 is by far the most stupid idea they've got those last years.

Simon, 18 Apr 2017Is anyone else seeing how big of an opportunity this year i... moreYep, Oneplus make me to remember htc(expect the price). They are having the good chance this year. Just they need to remove few bugs and concentrate on quality(Much appreciated effort within short span).
Sad to say htc is disappointing me day-by-day. They keep on modifying good things which needs to be there. Still they didn't find what to change or what we need to stick with.
I love the design of htc one M8 and htc 10. It will be good to see the hybrid of these two with slight adjustment in the front(to maintain screen/boday ratio- but not that much like samsung/Lg).

Any good 3.5mm jack headphones will sound just as good or even better than any USB C/lightning headphones and still gives you the convenience of charging your phone while listening to your music!
