BTW, the new icons look like they were taken from a Kindergarten school art board. The colors and sizes are better than before, but not yet good.

Honestly, Nokia should focus more on their OS, their hardware specs, and their connectivity (3G/wifi/BT) speeds. Not UI or fonts. People don't buy coz they like the font... thats just too naive.

On point#6, I remember sending a pic of my wedding dress, as email attachment on the 5230, and the thing kept sending and re-sending until the phone froze. The pic is only 112 kb size.

            Lame, Nokia is.

              1) download from Ovi store (%$#crap),
              2) Open Ovi store (multiple sites appear asking password, everytime you open, no matter how OFTEN you open in an hour),
              3) browse the web (any website, esp ones with pictures.. crap),
              4) play vids from Youtube (don't count on seeing the entire video),
              5) open documents (just reading will freeze it), and
              6) send any email with attachment (lame)

To hell with long battery life.. long battery life just prolongs the aggravation.. like nokia lives to hang, and hang again.. LOL

Nokia has become so comfortable as no. 1, they failed to innovate. Now, their phones are too old, they become ridiculous to buy..

I never bought a Nokia again since the 5230. I bought a Samsung galaxy 5, and now I am using the Android Samsung galaxy Ace.

Once you use an ANDROID, you will never go back to Nokia. So sad, Nokia got WP7 instead of Android... Bad move.

Nokia is screwed one way (symbian) or the other (windows mobile 7.0). They will end up in the Android band wagon eventually once they release windows phones and no one will buy them, 6 months later they will capitulate and start all over with Android. By then they will become one of the smallest smartphone companies with 5% market share.

Nokia is dumb for hiring Stephen Elop, he only looks at Microsoft's interests.

Nokia + WP7 = fail... Sales will fall like a big rock. Why? WP7 is Unknown outside the US. Nokia has poor image as an antiquated phone maker who still makes 628 mhz "flagship" phones, in an age where every phone is converting to dual-core 1 ghz CPUs.

Nokia is not afraid to fail -- it should have adopted Android from the start.

Recently I bought my mother a X5-01, I am very happy with it capabilities. The camera are good the Facebook integration is good. All is well until it connect to WiFi. God.. this is where my patience take a toll, come on how hard it is to just put a virtual button in the home screen for it.
Today phone just doesn't revolve on telephony only. Phone nowadays is basically a minimize pc for your pocket... come on Nokia do your R&D department realise that.

Another news I would add is now my mother phone is constantly draining battery I try to turn off all wireless data connection and WiFi but it still happen, now I am more baffled than I ever be.

bt symbian 3 cannot over power the android 2.2 and 2.2.x

I have been a Nokia user since 1997 and the longest Nokia phone which I still love and own until today is the legendy NOKIA E90. When it first reach market/phone shop in town, it was the least affordable phone at the time. Now, I am just hoping NOKIA to give NOKIA E90 a facelift in respect of processor and screen size. Typing in Nokia E90 is just heaven. Have use lots of other phones but so far there are still no phones out there that can match the attractiveness of the E90 keyboard. Now, I am still waiting for the new improved version of E90 with dual screen, both touch capacitive screen with wider screen of course. Maintain the QWERTY KEYBOARD, PREFERABLE 2 qwerty keyboards should be very good. Once the processor is increased, I wonder how much the phone will cost. To me how much E90 improved version will cost is not a problem, as I can still afford it. Keyboard on NOKIA E7 is still not the best keyboard in the planet. Know I mean? especially on the dedicated numeric button.
