I just think if they somehow get full flash for adobe 10 and add feature which could let third party apps be set as default, example opera as a default web app, then it will be gr8

Did i hear Windows Phone 7? I thought the deal and the agreement dint mention which ver of Windows Phone would come out. Anyways I strongly believe that Nokia has lost certain tweaks and tips to handle the new OS from its prev ones. I would come out with such story later during the year

And again I state, Stop trolling Nokia threads with Android comments. Android only fanboys have tons to look forward to in the coming years so stop going to EVERY Nokia thread and spreading nonsense about Nokia needs to use Android. No they don't. Do you understand Competition? If every phone has Android on it (Like some of you want) then that would be VERY BAD for us. No choices, No Need for Innovation, Android would be a MONOPOLY in the Cell Phone world (Perhaps even leading to almost No control over our devices), WAAAYYYY Longer Waits for Updates due to the MASSIVE number of Custom Skins and UI's, Prices would probably skyrocket on the retail and on our bills (What are you going to do? Go buy another phone? It's running Android too). You Android Only Fanboys need to wise up and realize that if everyone was running Android, then that would be terrible for the customer.

Nokia and Symbian's problem has never been functionality, but Symbian's usability and user interface. If Nokia can make Symbian a more attractive to use and usable interface, then it will be a success. Messaging needs to be improved with touch screen keyboards and an overall UI overhaul.

ok, I am a confessed Nokia fan, for over 11 years of using nokia/symbian, the last one was "Nokia N8" which is Nokia's best, I know Symbian like the back of my hand, I have used the best of what Nokia ever produced, after two months of using N8 and iPhone 4 and Galaxy S at the same time I decided to choose the best OS that fits me, I dumped N8 last January, and why am I using three android super phones right now? hello symbian loyalists? no offense, haven't you tried an Android lately?

symbian was with me for allmost 10 years now and the experience and the feel good feeling with it is really hard 2 4get.so we want a better symbian.but mind it nokia is better than all competitors in all segments(allmost) xcept the higher end.they really need to offer more.
but even if nokia fails..they would still be the leader owing the lower segments sales taking s40 sales nearly double than that of samsung.

one thing that ios and android users dont understand is that symbian has the best application availability....for example jxt check out mobile9.com...u dont need to go to the ovi store to download...bt in iphone or any droid u always need to buy full version of apps bt in symbian jxt google it download da app nd enjoy...android market nd app store iz jxt too expensive..

ok... the UI is not really great.. but OK
they can improve it even more.. practically they downgraged it.. the old one was way better.. this one looks even more childish!!! but anyways thats my personal opinion.. i can change 'em with 3rd party apps.. oh and maybe symbian can improve on their multitasking.. rather consuming up ram they can follow what Android does for multitasking.. rather multi threading.. :P
that way im sure they WILL be a hell lot better.. and once again Symbian will save the world :P

                                now..
                                Was that too hard nokia???
seriously the finns had such a large market share that they started ignoring the users feed back and digged their own grave!!
i owene 8 nokia phones first one being 2600 and the n8 a few months back..it was not a bad experience though but when i picked up my friends galaxy s ..oh my...i fell in love with the os! And all that crap about symbian needing less power..
even android doesnt need so much power.gingerbread can run wih 434mhz or faster processor. The xtra power is for intensive tasks like hd vids..hd games..which nokia refuses 2 giv.
android also has weak points like crappy support and battery hungry. But people make less compromise with droid than s60.
BUT WHAT U FINNS DONT UNDERSTAND IS THAT WE DONT WANT TO MAKE COMPROMISES..We want the best experience and who ever offers the better we go to them.we are not slaves that we have BRAND FAITH. Try nokia try.its business and theese are the rules.

Nokia makes excellent hardware and Symbian was the first smartphone OS. it did what it was suppose to do. now android and ios comes in the picture with fancy transitions and everybody jumps on it even though battery life doesn't last a day, while symbian manages battery life very well. symbian doesn't need 1 GHz or dual core processors to run, that's why nokia never introduced it. nokia had front facing cameras on the devices from day one, and was used on 3g networks in europe, china, and elsewhere. but apple just introduces it, calls it facetime, and its revolutionary. wow! android devices are just introducing it.

so hate on symbian haters, but when you look at it, your devices has features that were in symbian long, it's just a little more polished.

note well, i have a nexus one, but i've used many devices, and am just stating things as they are.

have high hopes that nokia would stand up again one day.. but it seems that it never happens. Its not that i praise android ok, but why cant they make a ui that is as good as android or ios.. even webos.. android is a young OS and yet, it surpasses the symbian ui. Its really disappointing that nokia cant create a ui tgat good.. they always rely on their booring symbian os. Now i see they're changin it, still feels and looks pretty boring. Why do people keep complaining about nokia? Because nokia is so far behind the OS game. Yes. There are still nokia fans there. But its not the same since android came out.. if nokia just goes with the OS flow, they would still be getting positive comments. But no. Nokia is receiving more negative comments than good ones. Poor nokia

Remeber that a 1ghz cpu in a symbian device is very fast, cinsidering symbian is less way less cpu hungry like ios or android with all its eyecandy. So a 1 ghz and 512 mb ram and say 1 gb rom device from nokia which i assume would be n8-01 or e7-01 or c7-01 should be very fast and responsive.
