I don't trust if one happily buys a new phone at that price to find out red tint is no big deal?

Lag is a bigger deal to me.

Why does Samsung want so badly to compete with Google's software on Android?

            https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615389-android/75254714

Short answer: To copy both the Apple and Google ecosystem but make it half-*** and slower over time.

AnonD-483897, 24 Apr 2017I knew it. People just need a reason to bash. (Wanna fight me?)No,people who spend hundreds of pounds on a top flagship handset want it to be perfect. If you buy a new car you would be annoyed if there was something not quite right wouldn't you?? Samsung for me seem to look at their customers like 'we got your money now we don't care' They need to improve quality control even more in my view. Don't they test these handsets properly?? I'll fight you i don't care

If the red tint is on the whole screen it might be tuned with RGB settings or just pass as normal but if the tint is on half of the screen as seen on the third phone in the given image that would be just unacceptable.

As long as it won't explode that's enough.

Even Consumers Reports tested it. No big deal people. So many drama queen techies out there overeact too much. Even a few youtubers addresses this issue saying its no big deal. Just adjust the RGB toggles unless you an idiot who cant even find the freaking simple toggles.
