See they mentioned apple in a positive way, in a Samsung story again, didn't they, j st snuck it in again. Then brought up an unrelated item up to fault Samsung at the end, to put off buyers. Should mention apple stopped giving out records.was it because they could not beat old records, or Samsung was canning them, I mean 0.00000000000000000000001% ahead of Samsung in a quarter when the N7 was recalled come on.

IOS sometimes has some frame dr... moreiOS never lags... right.. not only does it lag, but it also crashes quite a lot after some time.
My wife doesn't want to use her iPad anymore because she has too many issues.
My mother changed her iPhone for a Samsung because she was fed up of the limitations (she's not tech-oriented, but she saw what we were doing with our android phones, especially for sharing pictures and videos,... as well as camera quality).
Both my sister and my mother are also fed up of their iPads because a lot of things are not working correctly (same issues as my wife.. Youtube and Safari closing all the time back to home screen, some things they can't install because they can't update iOS to the latest version, available space issues when trying to update iOS, sometimes unable to unlock the iPad because a notification goes in front of the swipe bar and can't be removed, and a lot of other fun things like that.)
I bought my tablet at the same time as they bought their iPads (the first Samsung Galaxy Tab S), and mine still works fine, I use it everyday.
I didn't even feel the need to update to the latest version of Android ;)

IOS sometimes has some frame drops in animations, but not lag.
Android, and especially TouchWiz lags like hell...
Every single android implementation, and I mean every single one, is better than Samsung

Yo have to give Samsung credit for its innovations and for bringing the future to the present. And 4gb of ram is enough for the Galaxy s8.

Folks who defend Samsung probably never owned a Nexus or Pixel in their life. The software experience is like night and day.
For fashionistas and poseurs = S8/S8+
For tech users and Android purists = Pixel/Pixel XL
About 50M people in the world will experience lag while only 3M really know how great Android can be when left unaltered and the way Google intended it to be. Do you want beautiful, sexy, and like to showoff? Get a S8. Do you prefer practical usability? Get a Pixel. Watch the PhoneArena comparison between the S8 v Pixel.
I usually hate iPhoneArena but the guy was spot on. Lag, lag, lag. Inexcusable in 2017. A Nexus 5 probably runs smoother than a S8 and it is from 2013 with half the RAM! DESIGN sells these days. Performance takes the back seat but won't rear its ugly head like a laggy skin would over time. I don't care abour beautiful or sexy. It's a phone. Not a woman.
What I don't get with these showoffs is they put a case on it anyway. And Galaxy is such a common phone to see like iPhones. Nothing special. You are not standing out. Like seeing Honda Accord or Toyota Camry on the street. Yet, a couple of people asked me about my Pixel and I told them it is one of the best phones I ever owned. Smooth as buttah...
So 50M people will have the same exact phone as you. Good job trying to standout and to think different. And good luck experiencing that same lag Samsung has had for years now. It is unbelievable how my Xiaomi Mi 3 with a Chinese customized ROM runs smoother than my S7 edge and only has half the RAM!
Stock Android ages like fine wine. Samsung skin ages like spoiled milk.
Design/Short-sighted = S8
Usability/Forward thinkers = Pixel

I don't believe people are fighting to shell out 1000 EUR for this smartphone. don't forget it has unwanted curved screen, that produces a lot of glare, especially visible during videos. All that with mediocre 4GB of memory... no way.

hmmnnn ...well thats interesting.....even after the note 7 fiasco., samsung have a record breaking phone in their hands....,now lg's done samsung's done huawei's done launching their so called flagship's....lets see what nokia does.....i hope it kills em all...!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been using a couple of Samsung devices and honestly I've never had any issues with TouchWiz like what some would describe it to be laggy and stuff. Even with the Note 5 that I'm using right now running on Samsung Experience, I've never had any of the mentioned issues, at least yet. And I have always thought Samsung's iteration of the Android OS is the best and the easiest to use with a lot of useful functionalities.

The point is, if you hate TouchWiz, LG UX, MIUI or other Android skin, DON'T BUY IT. Google's Pixel is for you then. There's no need to spread your hatred everywhere.
Android is open-source for a reason.
