The company has reiterated that it's working on a software update that should fix the infamous 'red tint' issue on some S8 devices.

techlover1, 24 Apr 2017Well, overall, they deserve it all, because the S8 duos are... moreBasically it lacks everything a top smartphone should have, but hey, the screen is gorgeous....
Samsung made a joke of all of you with this S8

Lol... Record breaking FOR SAMSUNG. Speaking about misleading headlines

Android's third-party skins and apps are evil. Google should just make Android a closed platform exclusively along with its services like GMail and YouTube.

Anytime an OEM wants to use Android, they have to pay Google. If an iPhone user wants to download a YouTube app, they have to pay up. No more freebies from Google.

Samsung's third-party skin and apps just makes Android look bad. Google isn't gaining anything when other OEMs creates duplicate apps and services that competes with their very own.

Google should pull an Apple. Sick of OEMs mooching off their platform and ruining it with their own skin. Sick of the fragmentation too.

          Record breaking and face blowing.

Well racism, or looks-ism has spread to mobile phones too. This S8 has looks (only) going for it, so kudos Samsung.

              GOAT

              Nah. Pixel is still better.

Well, overall, they deserve it all, because the S8 duos are really beautiful, the "infinity" display is simply stunning. Obviously plus it's high-end specs. Although it has flaws & lacks as well, such as: terrible Fingerprint placement, lack of Dual Camera setup, lack of Dual Stereo Speakers, lack of 6GB RAM (standard version), Battery could be Bigger, and Bixby still in puberty or even infancy (haha). But hopefully Samsung will correct them all with the Note 8. So definitely it has downs/cons too, but overall it is simply fantastic.

"This leads us to think that the actual number would still pale in comparison to Apple's records in this area"

Not a surprise really. No Android smartphone can match the sales of an iPhone. It's just impossible considering that most companies use Android while only one company (Apple) uses iOS. If you want to use iOS, you HAVE to buy an iPhone. If you want to use Android, there're dozens of popular brands to chose from.

It would have been a surprise not to be record-breaking being the SINGLE 2017 flagship available now (you can't call flagship a phone with a generation old SOC, even if it's almost as good).
