[deleted post]Sony can keep updating its phones to the latest Android version and still they won't be able to match the rich functionality of Samsung Galaxy phones because Touchwiz is so much better than and far ahead of stock Android.

[deleted post]7.1 and 7.1.x only brings features to Stock Android devices. OEM UIs are usually more advanced/already inclues the new features/don't need the new features.
Neither of them brings new APIs, so you don't miss anything.

If my guess correct, with this update, the xz and x performance multitasking should improve a lot along with the web browsing speed

Nice to see sony struggling to be on top. They should however improve the marketing strategy by cooperating with carriers and bringing better service solutions, especially in the US, where i can see a potential exponantial growth if they manage to make things right
