AnonD-1825, 26 Apr 2017Who said anything about running smoothly? IPhones ran smoot... moreSnappy? Had the Edge, 3GS, 4, 4S and 5S. After an update or two, Snappy isn't applicable anymore. And Android devices also benefit from ''snappy'' user experience. These numbers are worthless unless you do some 4K video editing all the day or do some heavy 3D rendering work (not video games, real rendering using professional software).
iOS looks snappy because of extreme optimisation, and also because apps are generally written for iOS then ported to Android with minimal rework, thus impacting seriously performance. If you use apps designed for Android (not poorly-written booster apps like Clean Master, Battery Boosters and so on...), you'd see it's blazing fast, as much as on iOS.
As I've already said, my old, SD410 midrange device already benefits from smooth experience even inside demanding apps.

But still every year it get's more snappier and the workflow is just faster and faster so it's more joy to use. Cant wait to get this new iPhone even my iPhone 6s is very snappy and fast already but i bet in going to see the difference, but no in the smoothness because my iPhone is already perfectly smooth.

The phone is still snappy as it was when i bought it. I'm a geek myself and not an blind fanboy. The next best thing to smooth user experience for me aside from the iphone was the Nokia Lumia 1320. No apps, not at all fun but it was pure satisfaction to use it after my Samsung Galaxy S3. It just worked and it worked fast. I haven't seen an android phone that is still fast after several mounts of usage

I have no idea what you are talking about, i have 6s and its very fast and responsive. Its pure enjoy to use and especially with latest iOS version which made it even more snappier. Was easy thing to skip iPhone 7 when old model works so well still.
When i push home button im right away in homescreen.

Apple does a great job..
But it is easier to run iOS than Android.
An iPhone running android 7 would never achieve as score that high.

JMTM, 26 Apr 2017Man wake up... the best snapdragon in my book is SD820 / 82... moreExynos was/is 8890 was muuuuch better. SD820 was nothing impressive and it would sell next to nothing if Qualcomm did not have all the LTE licences and there was -still- a real competition. Off the shelf ARM cores could make a better chip. A10 handily destroyed SD820 in both single core and multi-core too ... I mean imagine a dual core destroyting a 4 core chip in multi-core, imagine how bad that 4 core chip is.

How did they so evolved, where the hell come those experience from.
No one asking...
Apple weren't hardware/cpu designer but, somehow, they have found sorcerer's stone and all of its dreams became true.
No one knows the secret behind...
Interesting, very interesting...

This one is just 30% ... so not only is it not unbelievable, it's downright unimpressive by Apple Standards. It merely is less unimpressive that androids that barely registered any performance boost over the last year (10% at best, seriously?)

AnonD-546038, 25 Apr 2017That could be fake probably. Although wouldn't be surprised... moreAndroid has plenty of chance if the semi-Monopoly of Qualcomm dies off. Samsung was going foot in foot with Apple as long as it didn't start to trying to match Qualcomm performance so that the variants won't have much difference. Qualcomm acts like Intel, keeps the whole market back, but in the case of phones there is at least one player continuing the pace of technology.
BTW if this bench is correct then 30% performance increase is not that great, between 6s and 7 was 40% , and between 6 and 6s was almost 50%. So the rate goes down even for Apple... But Qualcomm has reaaally dropped the ball, it's 10% (in single core) in a good day...

So wrong man, so wrong. Torrent downloads don't need more cores, c'mon, its not heavy task at all.
Your reality is dream, so far no-one has seen benefit of those extra cores. And those eight cores for definately isn't for speed. For most tasks 2 cores are more than enough.
It looks like you got brainwashed by marketing talk or numbers.

So this is why S835 seems to be only by 10-20 % faster than s820/821 and the A9/A10 . But in reality android is optimised to use all eight cores so it will be much faster and more suitable for a lot of things in the background like torrent downloads and it will also smash the iPhone. Anyway geekbench is b...sh.t as it is proved by many hardware/software developers , it only tests some things which were android fails a bit and it also is completly not crossplatform , maybe yes if you are thinking that this A11 ARM cpu is almost two times faster in single core than the legendar i5 2500k .

Apple makes some of the best ARM chips. No surprises here. I'm curious to see if power is in check too.
