Same thing happens with LCD's too, at least to some degree. My LG G4 had pink tinted screen, which was warranty replaced to a screen that had more bluish tint.

It is just the nature of display tech, that is why I feel it is extremely important that the manufacturer has some way to adjust the screen temperature in software. Kudos to Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung, Blackberry for providing this feature, shame on LG and Motorola/Lenovo for neglecting this. Also, stock Android and Pixel phones are also missing it, shame shame!

This is a common issue with AMOLED since the very first AMOLED Galaxy phone. It's nothing new at all. Why are people making a big deal out of this all of the sudden?

LOL, did everyone forget that the red tint can be changed with RGB sliders. Everyone one is fighting like, Samsung AMOLED is only our future and we have to perfect it anyway. And Sony fanboys go chill with your Xperias.

Best solution is to match the red screen with a gorgeous red body. Problem solved!

The nature of defective displays. I have two AMOLED panels that don't come out pink on white.

Tann Hauser, 27 Apr 20177 times? And didnt give up? Wow. Yes mate thing is I had to go to 7 different carphone wharehouse stores and exchange 7 times as they would only allow me to exchange the phone once per store, each store only had 2 in stock and would not let me open all there stock, finnally got one with an acceptable screen. Not 100 percent perfect but good enough.to get perfect I would probably need to open 20 unit's lol.but I'm happy for now I guess.I just hope the note 8 wont have this issue as I will be buying that too
