Carrier phones here have same price of unlocked ones. Most of people here use pre-paid phones because people dont make much calls. They prefer messengers ...

Children of the Corn, 27 Apr 20171) People from Displaymate only evaluates Samsung and iPhon... more1) Who made the AMOLED display forHuawei??? It was Samsung made so even if they did review the Mate series and gave it the highest its still a win for samsung.
2) Why would they lower the resolution for sony devices but not anyone elses?? And "only" editors from tech sites say S7 edge is better and that doesnt matter?? Well S7 edge camera is rated above any Sony phone camera on dXoMark so its fine.

Strange they've never really promoted the DNC that's already built in since the Z2. Even the tech sites never mention this feature. Sonys always had the most feature rich phones, sad that they're slowly dropping features, DNC will probably be the next to go.

What... more1) People from Displaymate only evaluates Samsung and iPhone. They did Pixel because it's Google's. No Sony, LG, Huawei ... No other brands.
2) Most of tech websites and youtubers use the lowest resolution on Xperia photos. All Z phones have 8mp for auto. Samsung and Apple shoot 12mp. I dare you to shoot amazing photos at very low resolution. I have never seen photographer say S7 was better, only editors from a few tech sites..
3) People usually choose warm colors over natural ones.. Set WB as Cloudy Days and increase E.V , your photos get exactly like S7.
4) It is weird the fact 2 websites have opinions completely differents. Android Authority , that always make critics on Sony, says XZs is very impressive at night. Outstanding front cam.
GSM Arena does not like ...
Btw ... S8 cam is below S7's ... Videos are poor quality, noiser and bad stabilization.

I wonder are they really pass quality control even before they launch their phone? I mean, S8 is a great phone, tbh the display looks great, but it is not perfect for everyone. Some prefer great quality front stereo speakers over single bottom speaker, 4K HDR screen over "infinite screen", gorgeous rectangular loop design over edgy design, 960fps video, simple and fast UI/UX, more optimized software and battery. S8 might best for you, but it doesn't mean XZ Premium is not good for anyone else. I prefer XZ Premium over S8 for that price tag tho. Also you got great quality headphones for free :D. Sony Quality.

The red tint issue isnt a problem the software update will be out and if its that big of a problem return the phone simple and get a replacement. Or better yyet buy a non samsung device like a Sony and get worse battery life, worse display and worse camera :D

If there is no quick charge in my region and no headphones, no deal for me. I'm not stupid to pay 750$US without quick charge adapter and without headphones. One must be present in the deal. It is very nice phone, but i wouldn't be the fool to buy without anything.

What about display because im pretty sure Samsung win that title?
ANd battery life?? Thats definelty going to be Samsung since for the last few years all SOny devices have had abysmal batter life.
Then there is camera and S8 camera is one of the best out there. Even a S7 edge with a 12mp camera beats Sony 20mp cameras.
Then you have UI features where Touchwizz has alot more features than the Xperia line.
So if you wanna have a phone thats a few seonds faster and act like its the most important thing go for it. Samsung users prefer the whole package.

Everyone was running over Sony for their prices saying that they are too expensive.Compare this with S8's 829 and S8+'s 929.The XZ Premium is a much better deal.The XZs with Snapdragon 820 is faster than S8+ with 835 on speedtests.No matter what you say,Sony this time is KING.
