I still remember when i went to buy the first note, but then i saw the GT 7.7 (with SIM slot) with almost same price and went with it :-D

I think 6 inch screen size is the perfect for everything. watching movies, net surfing, playing games. And yes i have big hands and big jeans pocket.

Wonderful article, brought back a lot of memories.
Too bad you left out PDA's (such as the Palms and the Blackberries). They were the "smart" phones of the late nineties and the noughties with their "large" screens geared towards productivity.
Ah, the Nokia Communicator! Any businessman would use it (or the E-series) to show that he always about the "business" even on-the-go.
The Z Ultra is sorely being missed today. The best part about it was despite having flagship specs, it was sold at a midrange price (lower than OnePlus pricing), presumably due to low demand, I think.
And I know this sounds like boasting right now, but I really loved the First Galaxy Note when it first released in 2011 (with an S-Pen too). Back then, people thought it was too huge to be successful.
