Why the hell did Lenovo downgrade the battery? Calling the phone Moto Play seems a bit ridiculous now.

Nobody buys Motorola anymore. It's only Apple or Samsung, and a little Huawei and Sony.

Motorola has lost it ever since the demise of Razr.

I don't know why most phone maker so obsessed with making phone slimmer and sacrifice the most important thing, battery.

I don't need 5mm or less phone with small battery. 8mm phone still ok for me.

If someone can come out with a S7 or LG G5 spec's with a battery of 5000mAH then that will be a BIG seller, Imagine you can use the phone for the whole day without having to worry about charging or bringing a heavy brick (Power Bank) around.

A expensive smart phone without power is a 'DEAD' phone.....

The original Z Play is better IMO because of its stellar battery life, and its camera is actually quite good.
I guess when Z2 Play does launch, I can just buy Z Play with big discount...

Of course, it is better to have removable battery and good battery life.

It is better to have a little bit heavier phone with bigger battery, than to have a phone which is slimmer, but it has a smaller battery.

Well i think a 3000mhp battery is enough

The one thing that just about everyone agrees on is that smart phones need better battery enudrance. So I know what, we will keep making the batteries smaller and smaller and if we are really lucky with bigger screens too. That makes good logical sense! Best of all since more and more smart phones now come with non-removable batteries we will not even have the option of buying extra batteries either. Never mind though, it looks nice. That's such a consolation when it powers off prematurely. You really couldn't make this stuff up!
