S8 that rectangular poo. I don’t understand what’s the hype as two of my friends have the s8 plus and its plain old android with samsung bloat, which i detest for some reason and doesn’t matter how hard i try to use it its just boring and full of bloat and apps which they want you to think you cant live without. I have gone above this app control as apps are as good as your dependency on them and what your friends might use but I say if an app is not cross platform I don’t care to use it, as i should have the option to choose what platform i want and not what a developer thinks. droid has a lot of useless features which any users cant name them as they are caught up in the dependency syndrome of apps.

If Samsung had some deal with MS, they would've used a Galaxy A or C to put W10 on. Otherwise they would wait for W10 or ARM as the Store will have more desktop apps brought via project Centennial

That virtual back button of Windows 10 looks exactly like the Samsung UX virtual back button in the stock S8!

Would be an interesting concept. With the lack of HW on the market this would be a great succcess IMHO. Best combination for business use.

Think even Microsoft themselves are not focusing on Windows for phone. So unlikely Samsung will the same.

Samsung aren't gonna waste their time on Windows when the platform has been dead for time.

Ghostwolf, 17 May 2017Actually it would probably run faster than the stock Androi... moreAgreed. Windows Phone is very light on resources, so it should be very interesting to see what a flagship Android device does with it.

spotter, 17 May 2017although plugged in it does not show any charging logo. pho... moreIt could be possible that the underlying drivers are not working... so it could be that Windows just don`t "know" that the device is charging because of missing drivers... the Icon that Shows that there is no SIM could be the same... missing drivers.

I think if someone is working on this... and if he came up to the point where device starts for the first time with Windows 10... it could really look like that (default tiles, no SIM, battery Icon not showing that it is charging etc.)

spotter, 17 May 2017although plugged in it does not show any charging logo. pho... moreWindows Phone makes the battery icon blink between an empty battery icon with a plug and the actual battery capacity. It might be unlikely that the 3 images has the capacity and not the other version so it raises suspicions.

I'm pretty sure is a fake, as nobody has any news or even a development of this. Windows on ARM is possible, but not this fast since S8 release and flawless.

I would be super hyped as this looks like the first decent Windows phone in half a decade. If the screen were an inch shorter, think I'll leave this in the store lol.

If he had shown the 'system' page, listing the actual hardware, I might stand a chance of believing its not Remote Desktop, showing a full-screen pic.

I would love to see limited versions of Note 8 running Windows 10. Microsoft should partner with Samsung to bring Note 8 with Windows, it will fit very well with their current strategy
