good luck creating games that can run at that resolution at 90fps. Heck, even 90% of the PC can't achieve that. You'd Need at least a GTX 1070

Polius, 02 Jun 2017So, PSVR not a VR device? Seem like they focusing on it already. He never said it wasn't a VR, but it's that VR isn't Sony's main priority as of now.
Their smartphone division is still in the rising stage and that's what they want to do first, and when their mobile division starts to be successful, they will eventually try to do other things like this VR and their own AR (that they already have on their Xperia cameras since then).

This is great, with most screens you have to squint to look or not look to see individual pixels, well with Ultra HD no more. Compare that to a$ple ,who have Ultra Maaasive HD Bezells, where you have to squint to see even if you have ANY low quality lcd SCREEN, amongst all that bezell. lol

Wonder if samsung are planning to bring out a new VR headset that rivals the one coming with the HTC U11, because that is currently using a seperate screen for vr & the phone is for everything else, mobile vr doesnt necessarily have to use the mobile for displaying the vr, interesting times indeed

Samsung did announced display with over 2250ppi last month. Samsung showcase 1.96-inch UHD (3840X2160 pixels) LCD screen with world’s highest pixel density of 2250 pixels per inch (ppi) and 780,000 pixels, which is 15 times more than the a 5-inch QHD (2560X1440 pixels) smartphone display. It will be used for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and holograms.
