Well, last time, there were also a lot of rumors about different versions with ram. Then there was only 1 model out. Got a model 3 for myself straight away when it came out, never used the full 64gb, since i make backups :-).

As for pricing: 469 is my guess. They have a reputation to keep up with although what most companies do: start with very low pricing and each year pumping it up a bit... Hope OP doesn't take that route. They still can attract a bunch more customers with reasonable pricing.

cant wait...

@Carl: your tweet about Fake News got me thinking...wouldn't surprise me at all...

Why no 8GB RAM option is the US...what makes these OEMs think we don't need phones with all top top specs that they are offering? Sorry but so many ppl here will like to have phones that offer their top specs and are willing to pay for it...so OnePlus spread the 8GB RAM love to all who are willing to pay for it.

RaghavaZ, 09 Jun 2017So the iPhone which is inferior and not even worth ₹10,000 ... moreIt is not about performance figures. It is the OS. Benchmarks keep testing stuff like how long an app takes to open, with differences in the range of less than a second.

But, if i want to do a simple thing like, say delete 5 contacts, i can do it in 7 clicks. Do check how many clicks it takes in an iOS device. By the time I would be done, an iOS user would be on the first one. I know because i use both Android and iOS every single day.

I am a user and sufferer of iPhones, having a 6s by my side, even as i type this on my OnePlus.

Also, i have at least 20 examples, where iOS is more cumbersome or slower (as in, the time the *user* takes to perform everyday tasks, due to bad navigation or an additional app being required to do basic things)

Finally, i like the iPhones' physical design. It is iOS i cant stand, which is why I would not pay even Rs. 10000 for an iPhone again

sharp increase in price will deter from people who are wanting to switch.

Anonymous, 09 Jun 2017Even an iPhone?!? iPhones are worth no more than Rs. 10000,... moreSo the iPhone which is inferior and not even worth ₹10,000 compared to OP3T(according to you), then how come OP3T trail iPhone 7 Plus in all the benchmarks where iPhone also contested? If the iPhone isn't worth 10000 then op3t doesn't desrve 5000 also. Even XZP with just 4gb RAM scored more than the 6gb OP3T. OnePlus selling point is affordable price for fancy specs and nothing else. If its price reaches Sony, Samsung and Apple flagship levels, then nobody cares for OnePlus.

The improved battery life, 10nm architecture, 20% performance boost, 40% GPU boost would be priced same as SD821? The cost will increase as the technology keeps improving. They copied the design? I don't care as long as they provide dooe tech. Performance is all I look at. You would be that fool to go for outdated Samsung tech which still costs the same as the improved tech(OP5). It's still your own personal preference. You not buying the product for a lame reason doesn't make others who buy the product "fools."

Specs looking good but the price is going up like a rocket in next few year their price would be the same as apple and samsung flagship phone it's like history is repeating it self but no one notice when apple was on top samsung used to make budget phone for the consumer and accuse apple for their over price product later the samsung attract people and slowing increased the price of their product year by year and now it's having similar price as compared to apple wtf is wrong with you people can't you see that what's coming

Ram, 09 Jun 2017Oneplus 2 was a failure due to SD 810 chipset. they reduce... more Price of 1+3t should have been slashed. The reason they are still charging launch price is that customers are buying it in large numbers thinking that it is still most value for money for the price. But it is not as one can get LG V20 for 31445 (mrp 60000), Honor 8 @21000 from 29000, Huawei P9 for 33000. People need to do proper math.

I like OP a lot. In fact, I bought both OnePlus 2 and 3T but at that price, I am not buying 5. At that price point, I am going with Samsung. SURE, it, 5, has great specs but at that price point, I want service and support which OP does not. In addition, at that price point, everything should work great without any effort on my part but OP has never produced a product which I can honestly say "works right out if the box." it requires too much twicking and work.
