The brightness is way too low. Nice gadget, but not useful, tbh. Unless you use it is a dark room. Not for 161.000 yen.

Projector in this thing is a lot more than 100$.
Good projectors start at 350$ and good enough is 500$ and those are based on old tech.
In Xperia Touch is new generation projector that cost even more (don't know the prices).
And I'm guessing it's a lot more than 100$ that you state.
I agree with the previous comment, this thing could cost a lot more.
But I still would not buy it because of high price and it's not practical enough:
needs real HDMI, more USB ports, audio output, bigger battery,...
I will wait for next, more improved generations of this product.

And yes uNess Samsung makes it a very low end device this costs less to make.
The only thing that sets this projector apart from a very low budget one is the short disrance throw part. That's it

Samsung brain wash people by always remind them waiting for the flexible smartphone, but Samsung just postpone again and again, looks like they have meet the tech limit.
Sony is well done with a functionally projector and project on wall and table idea is nice, the 100inch project is also nice. We can know high tech always come with higher price.
