Sony Xperia Touch review

11 June 2017
Sony Xperia Touch is a projector that can turn any surface into an Android interface with full touch functionality. It's almost like the ultimate high-tech toy sent from the future.

    Sony's optimisation is very good.

AnonD-660542, 12 Jun 2017this is really lovely...nice innovation...thumbs up sony...... moreFor around €1500 or $1700 depending on where you're shopping, the Xperia Touch has a price tag matching its unique feature set. But you have got to remember none of the available Ultra Short Throw projectors comes cheap and none of those offers anything close to the Xperia functionality.

[deleted post]Yeah, so obvious. But I guess he's happy - he gets paid for writing all that. It would be quite sad if he wasn't paid by Sony themselves. No one in their right mindset would be as dedicated to a damn BRAND like he is!

                        Xperia touch....
I can see the future is coming!

All trolls you beloved Samsung still behind Sony, just admit it.

Sony just creates make believe magic...
From a dreamy futuristic concept to a product you can buy...
There is none alike this Xperia Touch.
So some bashing it are actually clueless, as there is no actual refference to it.
And its not mainstream and expects to not sell much. at first.
                          Thus such a high price.
                          Its made for tech enthusiasts.
But will maybe eventualy become mainstream and more affordable.

Just like Sonys PS VR is...the best selling and most affordable VR set.
Awaiting Sonys proper mobile VR solution too.
HtC Link seems to be on the right track to that one, using JDI VR dedicaded lcd screens.

For that, you're better off buying a standard projector instead.

It's just like a standard TV being different from a smart TV. Standard TV requires a connected device for it to do such things, well actually not, because it's just displaying what you're doing on that connected device, but the TV isn't doing anything but display it on its big screen. Smart TV, on the other hand, can browse the internet, watch YouTube videos, etc. without the need for an external device to do it.

Bebe Rexha, 12 Jun 2017So you have used this device to say that it is overpriced? ... moreThat's distracting from the point. Those phones are only a little over priced.
This is more than double what would stI'll be consisted steep for it. $800 even is still kind of steep. That's the point.
I don't have to use to understand everything I already know about its technology and functions.

And no. You made a point because you thought you were being slick and that it related. ...from the fake perspective you have. And I replied to that point to call it out.
I didn't focus to much or too little. You're the one that brought it up in the first place

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2017Or in this case it's just truly a very lazy and disastrousl... moreStill I don't see it overpriced when it's just the only thing in this world right now.
If Samsung, Apple, or anybody else did it and priced it for $2000, I doubt you'd buy it because it's not from Sony.

No ever company is bad, others may just be better, but nothing is bad.
I doubt you'll thank Samsung when they did this, but don't care about Sony for leading the innovation in this way.

I'm seriously fed up of your stupid excuses that don't even make any sense.
They can't even be proved with such reasonable back-up statements.
You're using a technology to write your comments here, yet you hate when something is new. Yeah that's the right way to be a "cool" kid.
