Wow and wow again, am very much impressed by what I see. This is more beautiful and the high end specs will surely make sure that the phone performs amazingly even than the honor 8. I was disappointed before but I am impressed now. I might even order one this time. The honor 8 never came to my country. This time I have to get one.

Lol does your car not power you speakers? The phone does need a lot of power as it is sending low power and mostly data for a powered system like a car

Shawn , 12 Jun 2017the best feature of the honor 9 : 3.5mm headphone jack Indeed. My car's Aux-input will definitely appreciate it, provided the audio output is clean and loud enough. Hopefully Huawei will add an Equaliser in the audio settings this time.

NiJon, 12 Jun 2017I've previously owned the Honor 8, cant remember when it ca... moreI bought my Honor 8 quite late (early this year. And I must say that am pleasantly surprised with it. Even today the Honor 8 is great little device. It looks great, has literally everything from USb type C and SD-card-slot to IR-blaster and NFC, coupled with great performance and a camera which isn't that bad at all. Though I do suspect that the B/W second camera doesn't actually do a thing!
If I block the 2nd B/W camera or not, it doesn't give a difference. And If I'd block the colour camera then I expect to see a luminance (BW) image and it doesn't give anything. So I think the second camera trick (on the Honor 8) is a hoax!

You mean the phone's glass body has a metal rim?
At least it looks the same as the beautiful Honor 8 and has the same albeit updated specs. Although there's no mention of an IR-blaster like the Honor 8. What people don't realize is that the IR-blaster on Huawei's devices is 2-way IR unlike the one on Samsung models. So it can "learn" or programmed from other remotes into this one. The advantage of Samsung's IR-blaster is a longer transmitting distance.
