Did you guys read about the cheating mechanism that one plus 5 have? Everything you open a benchmark tool, it automatically target the specific app, to increase the score! That's why their benchmark is higher than all other Phone ! Read that through xda! Now, I won't buy it, they just prove that there are nothing special about this phone, pretty much nothing stand out! Not even one!

Basically music is play led locally (on your earphones) so nothing is lost, it's basically generated there so it is still wired, Bluetooth 5 makes sure that the music is being put there fast and no loss in tempo is incurred.
The future is wireless if done right...

Those who are already having One Plus 3/3T better stick with it. There is nothing much innovated in OP5 apart from the camera. If you really concern about the camera then go for it. I still feel OP3 camera is good but anyway OP5 camera samples are not better than Samsung s8.
Few points to note why OP3 is super hit in india it is because they come up with new iterations from their previous generation phones which are 1. Dash charging 2. Slim Metal Unibody 3. Amoled screen 4. 6gb Ram 5. Unique design of the phone and camera placement. Did not referred any phone models.
But Here in OP5 i do not see anything newly designed or implemented. I only see the copycat of Iphone 7plus and ugly camera placement which protrudes more than op3. Few things which i have actually expected in OP5 1. QHD screen 2. Above 80% screen to body ratio 3. High quality DAC audio chip 4. Hybrid stereo speakers 5. Four Axis OIS(But in OP5 OIS itself missing) 6.Front camera flash and Rear camera dual done flash 7. Water splash proof 8. 4000mah battery with same 60 percent charging in 30 minutes using dash charger. There is nothing was there which i expected in OP5.
A BIG FAIL!!! Lets see the pricing in india tomorrow. I can promise if they priced 8gb ram and 128gb rom version for 35k they are lucky otherwise it is fate for them this year. We can take this OP5 as OP4 since it is unlucky or death for them.
OP3 got super hit in india because it fulfilled above expectation of everyone but OP5 created lot of hype and anticipation this year but they failed big time.

On paper, its specs are brilliant. But I wont consider buying a phone that looks like an iphone clone in the market, not mentioning that the company name is still growing and only some market knows oneplus. Not demoralizing them, but hey, I'm not encouraging everyone to believe my opinion

I like this phone, but will not buy it because i do not settle for lack of micro sd slot. Despite of big onboard memory, i want micro SD expansion!

It's a good thing OP discontinued the OP3T. Otherwise, there'd literally be no reason to buy a OP5.
The camera is a gimmick. It's literally the OP3T sensor with an increased aperture and a second sensor tacked on for telephoto and bokeh effect. It's not flagship-grade. Period.
The battery shrunk. I'm not saying 3300mAh is bad for a 1080P AMOLED display, but it's still a downgrade, especially if you opt for the 8GB model (more RAM consumes more battery).
I know it's subjective, but to me the design is a clear downgrade from the 3T. Does it want to be an iPhone? A Galaxy S? Who knows. All I know is that it looks bland (at least there's a black model this time).
So it has the SD 835. Big deal. The SD 821 was already blistering fast at 1080P. At least pair it with a QHD display to justify the power AND cost.
No water resistance of any kind... Just sayin'.
I think OP has now reached a point of diminishing returns. Their phones are too void of flagship features to truly be considered flagships, but they're too expensive to be considered affordable.
I'd rather spend $170 more to get the HTC U 11. You get the world's best camera phone, waterproofing, amazing speakers, QHD display, active noise cancelling earbuds and a truly unique design.

Camera centric phone with no "OIS" ... Great Job One plus !
If relying on the reviews on YouTube, its not at all camera centric phone, there is no stabilization while recording 4k videos !
The Portrait Mode pictures are not that perfect like Iphone's !
The design is awful in 2017 !
The quality of pictures are not as good as s8/s8+ !
Big disappointment on the Camera side, as oneplus5 has been hyped on the name of dual camera !
And Yes snapdragon835 on a 1080p screen will definitely have an edge over other QHD screens.
So considering that I don't think the price hike is justified, further there is no need to upgrade from oneplus 3T to oneplus 5, in terms of performance, it would be almost identical.
Not a good move by oneplus in terms of overall improvement against the price hike.
I guess it repeats the same mistake as it did with one plus 2 !
