    >noticed the 18.5:9 aspect ratio
    >literally stopped reading there
    >into the trash it goes, samsung you just failed my by going into this weird aspect ratio that is absolute garbage when using multimedia since no prime apps are supporting this.
16:9 is the industry standard. this is the worst "innovation decision samsung has ever made" i dont know if they just want to imitate samsungs blunder from the removal of the headphone jack from the iphone but exploding batteries and then this weird trash aspect ratio. bravo samsung bravo!!!

At that price, I'll stick with perfectly fine functioning Galaxy Note 4.

Most manufacturers have HQ's in the US and Korea, relevant ones at least. The V series is the flagship and the G series is the mainstream high-end, you cant deny that fact.

Chinese manufacturers, aside from OnePlus and Xiaomi, are pretty much not even worth mentioning (ZTE is great tough, but its in the US now?).

The S8 cannot be the same as your S7edge..... the raw processor performance is testimony of a powerhouse chipset in it. Besides, the music player is so much better than the S7 series.

If the majority of customers think it is overpriced then they can hold their purchases and when the sales numbers don't hit target, am sure Samsung will reduce its price.

It is all about whether it is a normal price tag for 'just' a phone, or not. … I think it is not. You are also not paying € 100 for an pizza, no matter how tasty it will be.
I am a Samsung fan, more particularly a big fan of the Note-series. But. a thousand Euro’s is ridicules. These are almost shameless apple prices. I think Samsung should be careful not to over price its devices.

So as far we are concerned g series is the flagship.. And the v series comes too late for most people.. Aah I'm too tired... I'll let this one go

I doubt it will come in at 1000 euro....the s8 plus was rumoured to arrive with a very similar price tag yet when it arrived it was not as bad...still very expensive but not as bad as estimated....saying that though unless it has some awesome new features and specs in tow to justify the price i will skip the note....in days gone by i bought the note for the screen specs and pen....but i feel the screen will not be worth the upgrade given i already have the s8+, the pen will be good but i suspect the specs will be marginal upgrade....the only other area i would buy for is if they drastically improved the camera. The s8 is one of the best cameras on the market but it isnt the best.... a few phones have beaten it already....colour profile settings to lower saturation would be a good feature in my view for it

                              6 GB ram... nonsense

when oneplus 5 would be 8gb Ram. Small sized Battery. Wrongly positioned fingerprint Reader. Stupid Glass and front back which when broken samsung makes lot of money from customers. priced heavier than S8 and S8+

I was waiting for Note8 . but Samsung ur Shameless just like Apple , stealing extra money from customers with obsolete features which already phones have in market

i had 1st note, Note2,3 and 4 . and right now S7 Edge Black Pearl which is no different from S8 except home key .

thankyou verymuch. i guess you are not the top option anymore

A Beast of a machine! But what a price!!!

€ 1000 is really not normal anymore for 'just' a phone. Maybe the shameless price could influence sales. Although I am a fan of the Note-series, I have my doubts buying a phone of € 1000.

Best news is that it'll have better s pen features although i've come to expect that for each new note generation. Good also that it'll come with 6gb of ram. Dont care about dual cam but that's ok too. I'd expect further battery efficiency with the exynos 8895 but not keeping my fingers crossed for the sd chip. All in all, definitely psyched for the note 8. The price is negligible for me. 1k? I can afford.

Also i'd rather people stick to other phones. It gets annoying when everybody else is using the same phone as me.

Why not 8GB ram? But if they optimize software well even 4GB ram is enough.
