Yes, most probably it will be better to unify the two flagship lines. What's more, it sounds good that it will be launched (rumored, etc) in late August, and because on the other hand, the Note 8 will be launched (again, rumoured, etc) in mid September, so only two weeks or so between them. Really looking forward for both & more.

I don't get the obsession with glass back. Sure, unlike metal it's radio-friendly, but I'd take a metal back with antenna lines or good quality plastic over glass any day as neither of them will shatter like glass unless the phone is literally run over by a tank.

That stupid glass back gonna ruin this phone. The V series is supposed to be a tough and enthusiastic looking. Not something women would love to buy

They will be trading the removable battery for IP68 in the very least, but the V series has always been the most complete audio and camera oriented experience on the market in terms of features and performance, hopefully this year it wont disappoint either.
Such an excellent phone it will be, hopefully for what expected.

AnonD-234961, 24 Jun 2017Gloss back is the stupidest idea ever. The V30 is kind of a... moreThe only premium smartphone that used to have removable battery has also moved away. I don't think removable battery will be coming in any of future smartphones so guys just move on.

Gloss back is the stupidest idea ever. The V30 is kind of a business-oriented phone, it shouldn't be blingy. Look at the Blackberry KEYone and take notes, not at Apple.
