lol LG is still relevant? With all the massive reliability problems I'm surprised people even acknowledge they still exist...
Using an LG phone is like driving a hyundai genesis - now not only do you have a pos, but an expensive pos that any normal person would be embarrassed to be seen with.

I am currently using a V10 and think it is a great but flawed phone. To me the the V20 is somewhat better in some ways but not in every way and I don't want one. The V30 sounds like another improvement that I won't want. Glass back? Bad idea. Looks pretty but a functional drawback due to fragility and slipperyness. I'm an LG fan but they are their own worst enemy due to botched executions on what should be great phones.

Wireless charging is a fad in its current form. Charges slowly, uses tons of energy and you can't use the device while charging. I'd prefer something much more practical like stereo speakers or IR blaster.

No LG dont ruin V series with stupid glass back V series should be for power users features filled in a strong metal body and not some stupid fragile glass V series is all about power with militry grade protection like V20 and V10. LG dont go down htc route just look what it did it went from tank to trash with 10 to u11 please keep the tank like build of V20 with metal body

V30 should have similar body to V10.
As I said months ago. LG have misunderstood the failure/low sales of G5 (like Samsung misunderstood the low sales of S5). The reason why G5 and V20 is unpopular is that G5 and V20 have ugly design, especially very ugly back that with the dual cameras looks like a face.

G5 also has poor build quality that annoys people: there is a gap and bad alignment between the body and the bottom module. The G5's modular feature is also useless. They removed many software features from G5 that were present in previous LG phones (app drawer, multi-window/splitscreen view, manual video controls ...) etc. V20 has shattergate (fragile camera glass), has worse camera than G5 and terrible auto mode in the camera app. These are the reason why G5 and V20 are unpopular and failures.
G4 and V10 had bootloop problems (there are some reports with G5 and V20 too) and the overheating Snapdragon 808 processor. It caused overheating, performance throttling, high battery usage etc. These are the reason why G4 and V10 are unpopular and failures.
G3 had QHD screen resolution paired with only Snapdragon 801. Snapdragon 801 is too weak for QHD screen resolution. The GPU couldn't handle the strain, it caused overheating, performance throttling, high battery usage etc. LG was rushing so they can tell G3 is the first to have QHD screen. This is the reason why G3 is unpopular and failure.
So instead of fixing these problems, going back to the G4 and V10-like body design, they started copying Apple and Samsung with fashionphone design: shiny, glass design and non-removable battery. The shiny, curved, glass design looks premium on the marketing photos. It's the same psychological trick what car advertisements use (how the shiny, polished, curved surfaces reflect the light). It manipulates people. The advertisements portray phones as status symbols, jewerlies. Most people are primitive, so they look for a status symbol and a jewerly in a phone, instead of an useful, practical tool.

I guess it's safe to say if LG of all companies ditches the removable battery, then it's really a dinosaur. You probably can still find replaceable batteries in some midranger or entry levels, personally, I prefer metal backs.

After 2 years of bad suppirt of my lg g4 I will never buy any of their phone again. No updates. Bootloops. No accessories. Most problem of LG phones - they never fix bugs and you will never receive UI update. Unlike others. You will use the same UI as you got from the very beginning. Maybe one Android update, but with the same UI. With the same bugs. Or even worst. Don't think it worth my money. Goodbye, LG, you deserve Nokia's way.

LG Phone's back camera placing brings ugliness to the phone. I think they should think about it. Bring more beauty for your phone placing cameras right place on the phone
