The guy says that even few seconds difference translate into a much more instant interaction between human and machine. The human brain can understand differences of millisecond, what makes you think that whole seconds won't get tiring over time?
I've heard this argument that "computers are fast enough" since early 2000s... It was never true. Unless and until everything happens near instantly as it happens to a well functioning human body the human brain would detect the difference and be ticked off by it.
Stop trying to rationalize your poor choice of phone, as long as we're far away from instant computing phones like OnePlus would be the one to get as far as overall experience is concerned.
Its only is the camera, but that's an issue with most Chinese phones. Hopefully one day they will fix it.

annndddd... i don't give a damn care to china products like this 1+, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, Lenovo, Ding Ding .. all products performed well for the 1st 6 months, and after that, there u go.. "problem" is your best friend. Doesn't matter if Samsung left behind for few secs only (in terms of speed), as long you can use it for YEARS.

the little seconds add up to a better overall experience. And given that the HTC has a better camera and better audio quality than the s8 what exactly does the s8 have over the HTC?

But I was thinking for the same 5.5" screen size, the Redmi Note 4X will be vastly a better experience than all the three compared here despite sporting the slower snapdragon 625. I mean, who opens 10+++ apps at a time? What use is a Ferrari if its running on city traffic? (typical usage pattern: you tube, Facebook, chrome, a few games, etc.) unless bragging rights and brand prestige (rather than real life experience) matter more to the user more than anything else. The redmi note 4x has FM radio, ir blaster and 4100mAh battery which will let you enjoy the phone so much longer and make it usable as an fm radio and master remote control where data is not available ang long after the phone's android system becomes outdated.

its a shame on Samsung that it has the most expensive and the slowest phone between these three phones and other phones like the Sony XZ Premium, maybe the exynos version with a 6gb (which comes with the snapdragon though) could increase the speed but won't change anything
Since the announcement, I knew this device will not make an impact or a huge upgrade over the S7, its just about the looks and design which has some advantages and disadvantages

It's 2017, being a few percentage faster than another phone while having the same CPU is meaningless, all phones are fast now. Features and customer service are more important.

OnePlus makes you feel that everything you press happens instantly, this is a priceless feeling, the whole world in your fi gerprints. First android to beat iPhone in phonebuff style tests, that's huge, people should praise OnePkus for doing something thought impossible.
Yes the iPhone is almost a year old, but Samsung (for example) can't even beat an iPhone from two years back, the feeling of instant computing is lost. You would know that if your very used an OnePlus, it's tough to return top any other brand. Yes, OnePlus cameras are average at best but everything else shines through...

However, OP didn't include that cheat in any consumer units (I guess a 120F phone wouldn't be too comfy to hold lol). This was verified over on XDA to be true; the code was removed from the production units, and the unit this YouTuber is using is a production/consumer unit.
Nice try though.
