I don't see the point of this. It's not like anyone is going to stop using Android or Apple products based on the outcome of these lawsuits.

Oh dear iPhone Fanboys...
What most ppl don't understand, that there is a HUGE difference in letting the User choose if he want to be tracked like that or not... The Lawsuit against Google won't be successful, becuase they let you choose, they ask you at the beginning, every user who actually made a check on that note, is responsible for it. Apple just does it without asking and thats why they are vulnerable in that case. Of xourse there are some ppl out there who think they could get something out of sueing Android, but what can they really say against Google? I for myself unchecked that note and it was done, but I feel somehow sorry for those suers, because it is a big waste of time.
Please everybody, before you people comment, try to at least see the differences and actually that is such a huge differnce like a mouse to an elephant. I mean, what is the big problem with Apple and their lawsuit? They just did it and didn't even tell its users. Google asks you at the beginning of using your phone and you can still uncheck it afterwards. Ah and Google doesn't hide that checknote, it is actually really big over half of the screen, so what could people possibly say against that? Comeone, i wanna hear some stupid iPhonefanboys argument, come on out!

So which OS doesn't attack our privacy?! Symbian? Bada? Window Phone?
actually, nowadays, I don't trust any phone except those who don't have any connectivity or FW update features like nokia 3310

The amount of Hypocrisy on these comments is staggering. Apple have been accused of the same thing, and hordes of Android Fanboys were quick to denounce the iphone, yet when the same thing is accused of their own OS, they accuse the users of being to blame for accepting the terms and conditions.
One rule for one, I suppose >:(
Remember that Google started out as a company that gathered information.

You buy a Google phone and what did you expect. They give the OS away for a reason to monitor your habit's and collect information about you and your life. So please stop with all this omg they can track me, like your life is so important and secret.

Copying the Iphone or not, android phones brings the best so far to end-user as far as mobile communication is concern. I suggest just you guys read the EULA first before ticking that option.

when you tick "use wireless networks" for locations services a msg comes up informing you (if you agree to use it) that it tracks you even when not in use!
