Anonymous, 29 Jun 2017Same design. Getting boring.People want rectangular phones with on screen keyboards and not too thick.. Until further folding/rolling screen advances are made all phones will be basically the same... As they have been since 2007.

Wow, you've had a mobile phone for 41 years? Do you know Mr Motorola or something?
It's true, you can manage without any sort of code, but then again, as more people use their phones for banking, storing their music collection, private photos, personal details.. everything.. it only takes that one time that you lose it or it's stolen for someone to have access to everything. You wouldn't use a bank card without a pin code, why is a phone any different.

I'm a note fan but don't know how well this will go.
S pen users won't like the screen ratio. Samsung should have stayed with 16 by 9.
Many note 7 owners (like myself) jumped on board the s8+. Dual cameras is nice but not enough reason to sell the S8+. I don't care about the S8 pen.

Why do people care about a finger print scanner lol.or facial recognition or other locking methods?do you loose your phones so often you need this type of thing?me personally ive never used such things and i wont when i get my note 8 either

IF? the Note 8 will really be like these images, rumors, leaks, etc, and so with the dual camera setup placed horizontally, and with the fingerprint again in the same position exactly like the S8 (duo), most probably I will not upgrade/change to the Note 8, and just stay with the S8 (probably I will take a look/ consider the V30). Because too much is more than too much then, to repeat the same mistake or I don't know what to call it.

Why do people care about some stupid finger print scanner or any locking tools.ive never in 41 years used a in code or any form of locking security on a phone.is not needed

Although if you are not invested in using the heart rate sensor, this newer set up is a tiny bit better ,
but on the other hand if you want to use the heart rate sensor to take a selfie you are back in square one probably with a greasy camera lens.
Smart phone makers as a whole do sometimes make questionable decisions regarding their hardware choices at times .
For me i would still get the note 8 , the finger print pozzy while annoying , imo is really small potatoes , i have the S8+ and it is still a great phone .

Just because Qualcomm announced they are working on it a week ago doesn't they have it ready for production. And yes, Qualcomm most likely will put in some stipulation that force OEMs to use their processor with fps only.
