I prefer ultra wide angle lens + telephoto lens, each with fast autofocus and wide aperture. And of course, flagship quality images from each lens. Probably in 2020 or beyond we can have such dual camera arrangements. Hmm

I enjoy both what huawei use and LG does. Regarding Apple's set up. I just use my primary camera. I find using LG setup useful (if you know how to adjust for fisheye effect)for landscape photos. City shots etc.... huawei also has a good set up for all purpose photography

There is nothing wrong by fitting a Samsung K Zoom in your pocket. Conversily, you will be looking idiotic if you carry a DSLR with you everywhere.
Phones should have larger sensor like the Nokia 808 or K Zoom.

Why not put all the special lenses? So one could benefit from all advantages?
Or put only one lens, but a super good one!

Why there is no option for "I want a single good camera."
Don't waste the resources on dual camera setup. They are useless. Use a superior single camera with much better performance.

Voted normal + telephoto. Remembering how much was can zoom in with Nokia 808 and Nokia 1020 pureview 41mpx cameras. Sure Samsung also has solution for zoom its Zoom line with 20x optical zoom but its discontiued when a competitor Nokia stop releasing phones and was sold. Bokeh is also nice. All phones rer cameras are with wide mm enought. So wide angle valid with front phone cameras only. With low light most is important aperature, sensor size, pixels size. I think monohrome + RGB lens are not that important.

I love my Mate 9's RGB+Monochrome setup but LG's Normal/Wide combo is the best.

3 cameras for me:
18-20mm, 30-38mm, 75-80mm equivalent.
I wonder if this can be achieved with a single sensor and 3 different lenses that slide over it, build in to the back and fit it all under 10mm thickness.

In my opinion the Huawei P10/P10 Plus has the best dual camera setup in the market. The monochrome sensor deserves only praise, and who in the world doesn't like black&white classic looking pictures of objects and city landscapes ?
