I'm really looking forward to this! I hope they don't disappoint me, as usual... the bigger problem will, probably, be the price and its software :/

If they will radically improve camera (the weakest part of Mi Mix) - I'd call it the phone of my dream

This one (Mi Mix 2) spoils that. A definite negative that it uses a non standard resolution (QHD *not* 2k), which kills it for movies (no 1:1 or at least 2:1 rendering), kills it for the gpu (everything is suddenly heavier to the gpu basically making it seem slow than SD821's because the jump in pixels is bigger than the jump in power) *and* makes the phone unable to show 16:9 properly when the keyboard is on. And all that for a dubious increase in clarity (360 PPI on RGB panels is hella clear)...
I hope those rumours are untrue , a solid downgrade through and though.

Well, as long as it doesn't have Gloria Glass it's only waste of premium material(ceramic frame) and your money.
Why would Xiaomi design a phone that you could no longer use if you drop it,it's like owning a 1000$ egg, only a matter of time before you drop it, it's hilarious, unless Xiaomi has asked users to use the phone only when they are lying down, Or like buying medicine, keep out of reach of children

There are about 11 phone models with 835 and that's not a reason to not use it.
What do you need 256GB of storage for? Or 8GB of RAM? No reason to go 1440p on a mobile either.
That's silly and only inflates prices more. Just use chips that are proven to be smooth and improve the software, which is still Xiaomi's worst feature.

Love its form factor,,,most don't really need such high end specs like -SD835, 6/256 GB, 3K display!
Good majority of customers requirements are met with specs like -SD630/660, 4/64gb, 1080p.
Hope it can make it to more markets.

It's no use of bring mi mix 2 now there lots of phone with Snapdragon 835 sk better if they announced this phone with Snapdragon 845 256GB inbuilt 8GB DDR4X RAM
