Miss those beautiful polycarbonate Lumias.
My colleagues owning metal/glass backed phones all hide it under a case/cover, be it cheap Xiaomi, mid OnePlus or high end Galaxy S phones. For grip, safety and durability. I owning a 3 year old Lumia still show the colourful plastic to them all

I'd really want to see something else. Where are the days when manufacturers experimented? Leather, Kevlar, nylon, titanium, you can't see those these days. It's either glass, metal, eventually ceramics, which is even worse than glass...

For me, the materials doesn't really matter at all, as long as it is lightweight. The materials used in popular flagship phones have good enough durability, it doesn't matter at all.

*Facepalm" The results are totally dissapointing. So even after the exploding Note7 (Which wouldn't have happened if the battery was removable), people still haven't learned and still think flagships should be fashion accessories instead of high-tech devices first?

Where is good old polycarbonate of nokias and motors of old? That was better than all of them combined. Ceramic and stuff doesn't count since it's too expensive

Should be made with a material that isn't SLIPPERY. makes me wonder if its all deliberate.
