123, 20 Jul 20175.3 ? no thanks. It's not 2015!Why not a 5.3" ? My Z5 is 5.2" and I think that's plenty big. If I need a bigger screen I'll go use my PC.

Nokia 9 will be the bezel-less Phone with better spe. than Nokia 8, if you want the best wait for Nokia 9. Till the Phone commes buy Nokia 6 and wait for best

Feature phones now even have a straight guaranteed replacement policy .. no repairs... including new 3310.. and they are adding many new service centers and are investing big in setting up robust after-sales network .. this is one of their key areas of differentiation and main focus.. just like build quality and premium design and Fast Software updates ..

it may not be as good as Samsung yet, since they are new and outsourcing it.. at least they should not have the spare parts problem if they are serious .. unlike Xiaomi , lenovo , motorola where one has to wait for months for spare parts... ofcourse it is untested right now .. but given how HMD is living upto it's promise of great build quality and fast software updates till now.. i think they are very serious and frankly that is the only way they can become a major global player and challenge samsung .. because there are hundreds of brands that can provide better phones and specs , but hardly any that can provide good after sale services and are reliable .. sony,lg,htc have been scaling back their operations,
Motorola again comes under , Xiaomi , huawei category .. since lenovo take over and recent shift to promote motorola brand .. and now slowly lenovo is discontinuing it's own phones and promoting motorola phones with high prices .. look at moto C , Moto E4 , Moto z2 play prices.. .
yes moto g5 plus is a great value phone though... no doubts about that..

Here in Indonesia, Nokia is partnered with Erafone, one of the largest retail and services in the country. Their (Erafone) sales and service network is quite big. They was the one who handle Lumia when Nokia's Mobile Division was sold to Microsoft. And their service quality is good too. I'm sure the "after sales services" will do good enough to compare with Samsung owned service center.. :)

They also have manufacture plants. You can say Luna is a Chinese phones because, well, the owner of the brand, the one who design them, is a Chinese company. But you can't say iPhone is a Chinese phones, can you? Same goes with Nokia.
But yes, I do agree on the notation of Chinese phones these days are over generalization. Huawei and ZTE is Chinese phones, but they do have quite good service center network (although not as widespread as Samsung and friends).

Those with ClearBlack of course. Apparently, Microsoft was bought the ClearBlack trademark, but not the IP of the technology itself (they only have the license to use the tech). Nokia has the freedom to license the technology to anyone they like, including HMD. It just that HMD cannot use the name "ClearBlack" since the trademark was owned by Microsoft.

HMD global consists mainly of Nokia ex employees , Main headquarter is right next to nokia office .. Nokia is also board member of HMD and can deny any phone they don't like..
we can't compare it with "online" chinese manufacturers mainly because of "After sale services" and easy widespread offline availability and Nokia is a big brand.. they aren't even trying to compete in online space where xiaomi, one plus rules .. and in offline oppo and vivo rules .. even after being chinese brands.. oppo and vivo aren't better than nokia phones
they are after samsung .. so compare it with Samsung , LG , Sony , HTC

look like nokia 5 build with high end processor. Dont know people r saying we cant compare nokia with chinese brands. foxconn is a chinese brand,HMD global a new company with no track record how can we compare nokia with atleast chinese brands.
