Xiaomi , one plus and others cannot provide semi decent after sale services .. they cannot have wide offline easy availability.. and they aren't a big name brand outside online space ... these things cost money.. as long as your phone works great , it is great ... once it develops some problem then your phone will sit in service center for "months" , no parts available etc ... check after sale reviews .. one plus even gave somebody a quote of rs 50,000 as repair charges for a 30k phone...
only compare it with samsung,sony,htc,lg ..

No AMOLED means no Daydream as IPS can't give the kind of response time that Daydream requires. That is disappointing. With such a great PPI, this phone would have been perfect for VR. Sigh....

Its nice to think no matter how old we get we can be like a kid a heart and rally behind something of promise and a little something iconic of sorts. Colourful world. In regards to Nokia nd the things I have mentioned, there is many an article testament to what it will include. No matter. Lets wait and see. It will still be good.

Two biggest mistakes from BlackBerry's KEYOne -
Price and Snapdragon 625. I've read the KEYOne does stutter from time to time. Why get it for $550 when I got my G5 for only $240 and it has a superior chip? SoC matters at the end. Snapdragon 400 and 600 series will start to lag sooner than flagship chips.
If this Nokia 8 comes with Snapdragon 835, great camera, great display, and great battery life, count me in. I just hope Nokia prices it to about $600. This is what BlackBerry should have done. Wait for the SD835. To pay close to $600 for a midrange SoC is a joke.

I wonder what dual camera lens combination Nokia 8 will have. But I guess it would be normal+monochrome. Or perhaps there is another solution.

No AMOLED:- I loved good old clearbacks of 950 and 950 xl weird why not use those
Pros
Top notch performance
Good build
Relatively compact.(5.3 is pretty compact in world of 5.5+ screens)
Rest we have to wait and see
