If marketing costs them $50-100 a phone, I honestly don't know what to say. Also Sony's support in the past was notorious for being slow, inefficient, and not respecting waterproofing damage on warranties. Also why would I pay for ~$50 of support when I have to ship my phone overseas for repair and wait 8 weeks? Why are there no Xperia repair centers in Canada or US? That means Sony is not spending its money properly. What the fuck kind of R&D does Sony do that it costs them so much? They haven't changed their design or made anything unique since the Z2. The XZ doesn't count as a big design change. Even internal designs have only changed and favored cost savings, nothing new for the customer.

Sony have the most stable android software, they have lowest crash rate and it also very durable.

Don't tell me they will give you a new one for replace the faulty one. If they give it the new one for repair the parts every oem will charge it too. So stop dreaming.

Then when XZ2 Premium comes in september 2018 with front cam beneath screen and rear cam of 20MP f1.2 , oled screen and 3D facial recognition (showed off at MWC Shangai) people will find excuse to make critics again.
