In 2015 and 2016 years, LG phones had the best camera. They beat even Samsung.

I care more about the sensor's pixel size. LG camera for a long time has always had small pixel size which make them suffer for low light (1.12um vs 1.55um), especially front camera.
The other thing is their interface is ugly and slow, right now it's actually much worse than Samsung UI.

Phones, like cloths and cars, say a lot about the people that own them. What message am I sending out when I have a power bank dangling off my phone?
Maybe: "My life is so out of control that I have an emergency every afternoon at about 3:00 pm."
Or is it: "I was too stupid to buy the phone I really needed and now I have to put up with the consequences."
Or my favorite: "I can't manage my money well enough to replace this old, spent-up phone just yet."
I can't be sending these messages out. I need a removable battery, not a power bank.

I will just vote with my wallet and not buy it.
Like someone else said before, I'll pick up a midranger before I shell out $1000usd or more on a planned obsolescence phone.
I was planning to do that anyway removable battery or not, I'm so tired of getting hyped up by Samsung, LG, etc about their latest and greatest, only a month later after launch and I buy it they switch gears and ignore their flagship while immediately hyping up the next phone and providing limited support to the current phone . For me it's cheaper to get a midranger and just toss it every two years than buy overpriced flagships. Seeing as which most people just use it to facebook, Instagram, call and chat. Sd835 is ridiculously overpowered.
LG G5 I'm looking at you. I almost never see updates or patches on it, just "you have current os version" guess they are too busy on getting suckers to buy the v30 which will be promptly dropped when the g7 is released. Samsung and the other manufacturers are all the same.

And the lumina 1020 doesn't destroy in every way. I have one and compared in many shots with the S7 edge. It does have many advantages.
I'd love r see it built newer with things like newer tech for exposure and generating less heat. Plus things like dual photo diode focus. And a brighter aperture. Add improved processing and obviously a new image processor. Make the the controls a little better with a few better options

I followed the source button on the article (thank you, GSMArena, for including it - a mark of fine journalism). Their source says:
"Unfortunately, the source also says that there will, indeed, no longer be a removable battery. You win some, you lose some."
Let the whinging begin...

Sony phones use lower exposion.. It has nothing to do with f2.0...
Sky for example is always a strong blue..
My mother has a simple Galaxy f2.2, I had to set lower E.V photos were too bright...
Iphone 7+ has f1.8, LG G4 has 1.8 too..
Iphone photos look more natural and real.
G4's look fake, just like S7's ....

Non-removable battery phones are junk, disposable, planned obsolescence phones.
People who are rational and have common sense want thicker phones with the biggest possible compact camera sensor (like Nokia 808) + OIS (and maybe + real 3x optical zoom) and removable battery. This would be the best phone on earth.

TheHater, 01 Aug 2017And power banks cost half as much as OEM batteries, while o... moreWorst comment. Power bank is not an argument at all. It is worthless if your phone has non-removable battery. Power bank means you have to carry another devcie plus a cable, you have to wait hours (and stay connected to the power bank) while the phone is charging. It also means more frequent charging which further shortens the lifespan of the phone's built-in battery.
You can get water protection with removable battery. They don't exclude each other. But who cares about water protection? Most people never expose their phones to water. Non-removable battery phones are nowhere near more durable. S6 is the worst Samsung phone ever, and that is the beginning of the new garbage phone design from Samsung. The last good Samsung phone is the Note 4.

TheHater, 01 Aug 2017And it's funny how long has Sony stuck with their beloved f... morePerfect comment. If people were rational and had common sense they would want phones that you have described. But unfortunately the opposite is the reality. People are primitive, don't have common sense so they want phones to be thinner and shinier, they consider their phones as status symbols, jewerlies instead of high-tech tools. And the journalists, the advertisements, the marketing indoctrinate this primitive mentality into people.

If manufactures won't reconsider, I would rather downgrade to a midrange than give up my removable battery. Both the Motorola Moto G5 and Samsung J7 are nice midrange phones, and there will be better choices available before I must replace my trusty V10.
Amazing that the article didn't say anything about batteries (even though it should have), but that is all we fans want to comment about. It is also sad that LG gets the hate when they were last to go. We should take our rant over to the Apple and Samsung pages - they started it.
