Looks nice, but.... System wide copy paste? Applications? Can Nokia develop a tool to help developers to port Android/iPhone apps to Symbian?

Not degrading Nokia in any way, but that's what Samsung got flagged for, and by the looks of it those 3 icon designs look exactly the same down to the colors except for the shape. If Samsung gets flagged for that Nokia will too.

I'm really poking at the patent law not at Nokia. Grow up.

Specially when the phone does most things rigth out the box. Also this is Meego which is LINUX this means just about every linux APP is already available. Not to mention QT So you can add Symbian APPS to the list. And since it is Linux you can just dual boot Android on it if you need anymore APPS.

Ok, they dropped their skepticism of saying it's running Symbian. Sorry to be brash about it GSMArena, but you're a big news site, a lot of other sites take their news from you, and if they went around saying this device ran Symbian because they got that news from you, it would create loads of confusion.

The only other news we need now is an in-depth look at Nokia's Harmattan build. What kind of dual-core processor is it, how much RAM does it have, and it's availability. Cheers!

This is does not look like symbian. For symbian to perform with these gestures their would have to be a lot of work done on the OS. I would safely say this is meego with Nokia's UI.

Oh GSMA, if it were symbian anna, why does the menu interface have four icons in a single row?
I am looking forward to the announcement of this phone though. I won't be able to own it, but I would follow its specifications very curiously.

This phone was my dream phone it was all I could think about from the moment Nokia and Intel announced Meego, that is until 11/02/11 the day that Nokia broke my heart.

If this phone had Nokia's full backing it would have sensational but this is now just an experiment. Needless to say I will still buy one just to see what could have been but android is and will most likely be used as my everyday phone.

MeeGo does have some big companies backing it and hopefully in the near future there will be more support for it to become a big player in the mobile OS world. I can't wait for the official release.

If the UI design comes out like that, Apple's gonna sue again. App icons for setting, text, and phone designs are similar to Samsung design that Apple sued... =S

Phone design looks quite pleasant, if the UX is excellent might be a market stealer.
