Its like the most coolest design on earth. Apple, Sammy, LG, HTC and watever they all produce the same designs again n again. Nobody dared to do something different like Nokia. IMO Nokia is the best designer of phones. BTW dont even talk abt N8's cam. It is the BEST in the market rite now and will stay that way for another year. Come on i can bet on that. I know my device and its truly marvelous. So easy there boy. Know before you speak.

Since the N9 runs MeeGo, you can also download the AlienDalvik package that allows you to run any Android app. So now you can port Android if you want, run Android apps, Linux and Debian apps, or use Qt for the iPhone apps if you choose. Sounds like we'll have a good selection on our hands.

guys is that true microsoft will buy nokia ? and why people hate nokia :( what is wrong with nokia ? i used nokia n97 and same time i used htc desira version 2.1 when i used skype it was not working good in htc desira :( but in nokia n97 working so great :-) even nokia n97 128 ram vs 512 ram . n97 processor 434 vs 1ghz . and both have 5mp camera but no way :-) nokia n97 100 times better then htc desira :-) even n97 two year older then desira :(

N9 might just be what can help nokia get back in competition but Nokia needs to realise that they need to release the phone when people are demanding something new not when the techonlogy is outdated, like they have been doing till now.

bricks are cool. very sturdy when accidentally drop. the iphone and androids phones are thin that when accidentally drop they break.

You don't need a 12Mp camera nor any of N8 functionalities? Again, it's only your opinion.
Nokia phones are bricks? Just like this N9 on the video? Or just like C7 with 10mm thin? Or just like E7 with 13mm thin even with a great physical keyboard? You want phones thin is a paper like iPhone 4 and Galaxy SII that is only useful for you to show off and that you can't even handle properly? All right, let us live with the bricks.

N8 have nothing exceptional do offer aside from the 12Mp camera? HDMI out with Dolby Digital encoding, USB On-the-go, 3G pentaband, 720p recording with stereo audio, FM Transmitter, aluminium body, Bluetooth 3.0. You don't care about any of it? That's your problem. I can guarantee that most N8 users care for most of features that it offer, it offers nothing exceptional for YOU. It's only your opinion.
It looks cheap? Hahaha, that was a joke, right? The phone is all made of premium materials, Gorilla Glass and anodized aluminium body, it got a terrific build quality and hardware functionality, what doesn't look cheap for you? Samsung Galaxy phones made of cheap plastic?

As I see on the video clip is probably symbian.3, but the menu icons grid it seem nokia is using from existing symbian hackers... i already have hack my N5800xm and N97mini with the same look as this one on video, the firmware is fast no lags and several adjustments even if nokia service updates it, i don't think they are going to make anything better, but never know. The N97mini CFW i will release this days on forums with firmware name Alboooz.
