10 August 2017

If only LG had better designers. Their phones are great, except for design.

I wouldn't fall for this. They said it's a smaller sensor so, how can it be a better one? They should had kept it the same size, or bigger even. But smaller?
      Nsh i don't bite.

People are mistaking smaller module for a small sensor

In fact, there are technologies that provide near RX100 quality of photos. For instance the impressive Nokia lumia 1020 had an insanely large 1/1.5 sensor size + OIS + quite bright compared to its competitors f/2.2 optics. Just imagine how good photos would be from nowadays phone if it features 1/1.5 sensor size, 16 mp count, power LG OIS, f/2.0 or even f/1.8 and exmor rs technology. Such technology already exists. Nokia has proved that. Moreover, now phones have many ways better noise reduction approach whith their image stacking features such as LG, Samsung and Google implement in their devices. We just have to wait for any manufacturer to do the first shot. Of course there will be camera bumb and it will be quite massive. But it certanly will work for me considered advantages delivered

they said they will using glass for the lens, does that mean they are using plastic all this time.
also, they proudly said the sensor will be smaller, so the benefit of wider aperture will be cancel out by the small sensor and wide field of view the light coming from

                          TouchSense Haptics seems good

Also this will have the smallest image sensor out of a flagship smartphone in 2017.
Still waiting for the day of another flagship smartphone with at least a good 1/1.5" size rather than these stupid dual camera setup with tiny sensors.

Yeah, yeah, f1.6. But let's wait if it can even beat an RX100, let alone a 5D Mark III.

Saying it delivers 25% more light sounds good and is true (assuming good glass). Yet, the light is also from a larger field - in other words the light from a field pixel so to speak is perhaps the same. So if that's true I'd dare the accusation that saying that it delivers 25% more light is a marketing invention that tho not false is trying to get the customer to think that the lens is of better material than it is. In short saying the field is wider would be the correct interpretation but doesn't sound as inviting.

This is the only way to 'compensate' for the smaller and smaller sensors, that are a direct consequence of the thinner and thinner devices. (Unless we would get some pop-out-lens-parts like we know from most compact cameras of course)

LG should have implemented 12mp 1/2.3inch sensor behind that lens. 13mp 1/3inch aint any good.

Haha good news, definitely a very good news. Let's see which one will be really the best (overall), from the two top main contenders: Note 8, V30? (Among the others).
