it isn't the driver but the hardware, i think its a counterpart action of samsung due the the lawsuit filed by nokia because of the unreasonable price of the screens. let's wait 'till nokia file another lawsuit to samsung. and FYI samsung is copy beast, copy and copy and make it their own just like the iphone 4 to their SGS II . and apple filed a lawsuit recently. just wait and see.

For the second batch of n8, Nokia (in a bid to save some cash) purchased only the screens without its drivers. The drivers made by Nokia were faulty and caused the purple screen problem.

And If they decide they can dissapear the computer line up.

Amazing from a company that was close to bankrupcy and technically dissapear.

And not only that, they make a phone a style of living, a line that every one now follow, all the phones, including samsung are copycats of the exterior. but the interior still very primitive....no doubt Sam SG2 and others are 100 times better than iPhone specs.

Let see the iPhone 5, but for now is pretty by outside & ugly by inside..

Well on Apple side one thing is sure..

They have the highest resale value on phone market, even before iPhone 4 hits the stands the already had a +$1200 dlls value, today you don't find those gadgets cheaper, and all the chinese market is based on copy iPhones look.

However this don't make a good phone, just stetics and that's all I don't bite either...pretty is not good.

That rumor came from Eldar Murtazin and he may be right or he might be wrong. According to him, Nokia tried to save some money and didn't bought the correct drivers for the AMOLED screens and Nokia used their own drivers and that caused the purple screen defect. It's not that Samsung is trying to sabotage Nokia, it's Nokia who tried to save money by not buying the correct drivers for the screen.
