11 August 2017
The benchmark run confirms two of the handset's most important specs, at least for the international model.

I have to say I'm not impressed with benchmark, But remember this is probably a prototype Note 8 being checked. I will be getting the Note because I like the SPEN for productivity.

I also have to agree with an earlier post, The Note 8 used to have better processor and Ram than stock Galaxy phones, Sadly it seems the SPEN and dual cameras are the only difference this time round.

As for IOS chips well they will always beat Android in single core scores because they can't multitask properly!!

Well, it's their money, they can buy whatever phone they want. Why should we care? We just buy the stuff we want.

Freedom of choice is still alive and kicking.

Why are we been hypitnotized, first crossing one thousand dollars, basically nothing new, except some pen and dual cams. Nobody is dying to buy it, anywhere in World, except Craze and Show off, wait by December it will be available half price.

Vegetaholic, 12 Aug 2017There is no single chipset in Android world close to A11 or... moreYou talk about single core. What about multicore?? Last year samsung exynos beat A9 and A10 in multicore. As usually you apple fans think really single core is better than multicore lol. Android is not ios. Your crappy ios can't handle real multitask. Android need lot of ressources to work very well. It's like using intel core i5 haswell to run windows 95 (ios is like windows 95 very outdated os and useless.). So you think your a10 is a beast. Imagine a second A10 running android ics or jellybean or maybe lollipop. I bet it will lag. Because android is by far complex.

Vegetaholic, 12 Aug 2017There is no single chipset in Android world close to A11 or... moreLol like a few milliseconds matter in real life usage. Reality check, they don't.

Note7 for my region came with a free wireless charging backpack. This is the one that houses some 3100 mAh. Because it's a mobile wireless attachable charger, it could only REALLY supply half of the Note7's battery before it runs out, and took over 2 hours to power up just 49% of the internal 3500mAh battery.

All battery power packs only can transfer 60 to 70% of their capacities due to power transfer loss. Just so indigent because you need more bulk to compensate for the tiny sealed battery that's not designed to last the day.

Apple focuses on Single core preformance. that's why when you jam together 2 cores of 4500 SC score. you'll get about 9,000 points multicore. Since there are 8 CORES and even TEN in android. the cores must be small to be able to fit such an amount in android. while apple is fine with 2. and only recently moved to 4. (2 HUGE cores and two decently sized cores for power saving)

As A series chipsets uses two major cores, can fit physically bigger core, which obviously more powerful. Yes very disappointing, knowing that iPhone 6s is faster than any latest Android device makes you wonder wtf :(
