At first, I was hoping that 8 will be feature-rich devices with a really good sensors & ZEISS lenses which will prove that they are "different" from other device, but my expectation was utterly crushed.

For starters, that starting price, 600 euro for a "start-up" company is ridiculous.
Xiaomi and OnePlus becomes famous as it is now because as "start-up" companies they offers flagship-grade devices for half the price of the flagship from "branded" companies, hence the nickname "flagship-killer" appeared. Yet, HMD and Nokia think they ARE part of the big dogs, while in reality, they WAS part of the 2000's big dogs, as they are now just another start-up company who depends greatly on the "once-great" brand of Nokia back in early 2000.

Next, the 5.3' display size choice is absurd. For proper flagship, the screen size should at least 5.5', as typing on a device below 5.5' is tricky and pain in the ass as people have to turn on the auto-rotate just to be able to type in landscape. FYI, auto-rotate features DOES drain battery fasterevery time u use it as it uses the accelerometer.

Moreover, the choice of generic IPS LCD for 600 euro device is a disgrace. At this price tag, LTPS LCD or IGZO are great alternative options besides AMOLED or P-OLED, not the cheap generic IPS LCD that was hype on 2012!

Move to the chassis, a 6000 series Aluminium is absurd. just because they might add a piece of aluminium and most probably screw it down, doesn't justify the use of a 6000 series which is faulty.

Next, For a 600 euro phones to ONLY "splash-resistant" is INSANE. it's one thing if HMD priced the 8 at US$400 like Mi6, but for a 600 euro, Nokia REALLY cut HUGE corners at this department.
For those fanboys who says "Nokia = durability", durability my ass!

The biggest disappointment is the choice of camera sensors. Nokia SHAMELESSLY use 2015's IMX258 and PROUDLY boasts its camera! It's the BIGGEST disappointment in my dictionary, as no matter whether if it's Zeiss, Leica, Kodak, or Schneider Kreuznach-made lenses, WEAK, mid-range camera sensors doesn't justify the price tag!
Additionally, f2.0 aperture & 1.12 µm pixels size for the main camera are, no matter how you stretch it, NOT WORTHY OF BEING CALLED PROPER FLAGSHIP CAMERA in 2017!

The last, a 3090mAh battery capacity for a SO-CALLED FLAGSHIP device? WHAT ARE U SMOKING, HMD? It's controversial enough that the 6 has 3000mAh battery, but for the 8 to have similar battery capacity, it's downright INSANE!

tell me, what's the price tag of the 8 again? 600 euro for the damn basic version and u got more CONS over the PROS. No, Zeiss lenses and OZO can't justify the RIDICULOUSLY HIGH price tag, as it's NOT A FLAGSHIP, let alone FLAGSHIP-KILLER, just another OVERPRICED, HYPE Nokia device!

Polish blue looks incredible! I thought Honor 8 in blue was nice. This will be my next phone if it ever lands in my country. Pixel or Nokia, stick to stock or close to it.

      Nokia is back!

          It would be vry interesting

Wow. Remove the brandings and you'll see... a Chinese phone. Sorry, but this device has no identity. I can't feel anything Nokia-related. It's not because you slap a logo on something that it becomes good or relevant to the brand.

Should've just used a single and much larger sensor than using two very small ones. Dual cameras on phones have been a gimmick thus far. Only LG is having the right approach in their wide angle second lens.

I have a feeling that the 5.3" display with AOD support on a "special low-powered section of the display" is in fact the LG G5 display. Everything matches.
