Wooo things are heating up! Nokia & Microsoft combo to me pose a threat to Android more than anyone else. Android will continue to do well, but some wind will be taken out of their sails for sure.

    Interesting times.

in just under a year of its lifespan, WP7 is already nearly Android 2.3 level and even beats it in some points. There's hope

dear God, make nokia somehow add us the ability to switch between different looks and not just the "metro" one and this just might become one heck of a phone OS, better than android perhaps !

Windows Phone is really maturing now, and is close to becoming a challenge for Android. I hope manufacturers don't get lazy though and stick to Google's OS.

                  WP7...

Simply the IE9 navigation is just GREAT!! And multimedia handling is another great point...XBox Live is a nice feature (for transfer data among players), the Social Networks integration is cool, and many other ammenities.

Howevre we need to see more about this, we need more information and over all, we need Real Life Tests!! And not only from microsoft...they as Google as Apple only shows their strong points, we need to see both sides.....

It's a deal-breaker for me not to have tethering... I don't want to pay 2 separate data packages.

However I don't believe at 100% on Microsoft word...

We need to take one of these babies and see if they learn about "sharing is good" and let behind the old restrictions.

Thats one of the biggest weak point of Apple OS, however you can download applications and bypass this, but, would be good and nice see these features "buit in" the OS.

Samsung is the only one having real issues with the updates... and not only with WP7 for that matter.

Gr8..... Multitasking is done... Now we need silverlight&flash in browser and a good apps store...... ios apps can b ported to wp7 now.. So growing the apps store is a matter of time. As for flash in browser i think it will b available in another update or might b in this update which took android to bring after whole 7 update (2.2 froyo 1st supported flash in browser)..... By the way microsoft is progressing i think after 2 or 3 update wp7 can go head to head fight with android and ios if the app store can grow at good rate.........

z, 24 May 2011my android can do those..... Sorry but Microsoft will be a GREAT update with this, Android is cool, but Microsoft is all you can use in a OS, and they has learned (by the hard way) to make a better OS, since their competition is breaking his bubble.

Experts proclaim WP7 Mango will be a greta suceed in OS market and will "be over" all other OS's....well let's see in near future if this is real..

:D Is cool to see NOKIA's name in the center of the picture with BIG BOLD LETTERS!! :D
For now is looking AMAZING in paper, in practice lets see if Microsoft will be the King like with WP6.0/WP6.5...Whatever Android, Symbian, Apple OS, BB users say that OS was the king and the best of phone OS, and mark a tendency to improve today's smartphones.

I hpe Microsoft learn his lesson and bring to final user a good OS experience (just like WIndows 7) and I bet the coming soon 8 will be a great hit...
