Samsung reportedly bought up almost all available Snapdragon 845 chips

21 August 2017
For use in the Galaxy S9, of course. But where does that leave other makers?

UltimateZeroSeconds, 22 Aug 2017The SD835 bought up almost all by Samsung and now the SD845... moreNo. It was just what almost any company would have done. Especially in s835. Supply and demand.
Why would they make the s835 and not have enough to supply everyone let alone everyone and themselves....and not use most of what was available to make sure rhey could supply their release which is more in demand than the other devices anyway. Its called logic and smart business.

im waiting when samsung gonna purchase Qualcomm entire division include the wireless division on laptop

The SD835 bought up almost all by Samsung and now the SD845 bought up almost all by Samsung again. This is marketing strategy, just like take off almost all the best bait for fishing as monopoly it. This time LG G6 G7 must suffer again. Sony just have the XZP so that doesn't a big deal for this year, but next year again will also get the some balance from the remaining part.

Samsung needs to realise that their flagship devices are quick because of the chipsets but very quickly slows and lags after few months of use because the RAM/ memory optimisation is structured badly!!!

Bixby always have that "Hold on a minute" per voice action rather than just answering back quickly because the way it fetches information and translates voice into information do not have the best optimised process. It is only saved by the fastest processor. Not good for battery.

When yo have plenty of internet tabs, it doesnt remember the tabs and have to reupload the page. Again, not good for battery and data usage.

And samsung samsung samsung,,,,,,,,, the bloat ware????

Why do they have to push their software that repeats what the OS android is already giving?

Its not like their bloatware is equal to or superior than googles, its actually not good at all. and you cannot delete some of them......... So you end up having your internal memory stolen from you, user experience affected in a way that you cannot clean up a device they way you want.

And all these carrier bloatwares too....... Its an insult to customers actually. because they sell android for its customisability over other platforms yet manfacturers (who doesnt own the OS) and carriers keep putting these bloatwares that hardly anybody uses.

Advertise them but dont push it to customers.

I would only use pure android phones. I dont care even if its s99.

Will the history repeat itself? Just like NOKIA and Symbian that forced companies to get the alternative OS known as android, unfortunately made them both failed miserably
              Will Samsung and SD?

Then they license the design to companies that put those cores into a SoC/CPU. Apple licenses it, Samsung does too,Qualcomm, MediaTek, Broadcom, Speedtraum, Huawei, Xiaoping, Intel... Anyone can manufacture Cortex CPUS if they can afford the license,

Too funny. They will get 1st crack at it again and underperformed as usual. Other manufacturers will get it in their phones 2 months post, and beat Sammy again. And their ram management will still be awful andd beaten by phones half its price.
