I feel like Samsung price-wise is pushing their A series towards people previously buying S series, their S series towards iPhone buyers and their new Note towards iPhone 8 price market,,, which is all STUPID and should not be tolerated, Chinese manufacturers are showing that much lower prices in each price range is very possible and indeed profitable. Sadly, a billion S and Note devices will still be sold and the trend will go on.

Maybe Galaxy A5 2018 with SD660,dual camera , waterproof and there will a bigger version A7 2018 with same spes but with bigger infinity display..
Price will be €500 and €600 respectably..

It was expected. Samsung completely migrated to the crappy curved edge and bezelless design (after the non-removable battery design since S6). It became a design language associated with Samsung. It means by time, alll Samsung phones (including low-end ones) will have curved edges, wrong screen aspect ratio and no bezels.

Galaxy A series for people who couldnt afford S series but want all the latest features. I will wait if they bring this Infinity display to J series. As for A series, it would be nice if there is Galaxy A3(2018) with 4.7" infinity display. I wonder what it would look like to have bezel less small phone like that.

will upgrade my phone before this shit got released. samsung quality in mid range is pathetic so even though its infinity will break from all fronts with single drop. so better to stay away & purchase C or J series with aluminium back.

This is a problem with the Samsung high-end phones. Their unique designs and USP are always replicated in Samsung's other much-less expensive phones after sometime...so much so that it becomes difficult to tell an "A" series phone from an "S" series phone/Notes...I would rather Samsung keep the features of premium hadsets unique and exclusive to only S series and Note series phones...Don't discount your innovation so cheap..

Whattt!!! Again 18.5:9 aspect ratio! Why elongate the phone to this absurd heights, like the Note 8, SGS8 and SGS8+. This is not an inovation. A real inovation will be to cut off the top and the bottom edge and keep the tradicional 16:9 aspect ratio of the screen, and keep the same or beter mAh battery. Two reason that 18.5:9 is wrong; 1- Browsering on internet in lanscape position is wery uncomfortable on 18.5:9. 2- Playing platform or strategy games (ps.Clash of Clans) in 18.5:9 is almost inposible.
